    For me, it's gotta be a Senko or a knockoff of. Weightless, light weight texas, Carolina rig, Flipping & pitching or Wacky. Does not matter. One of my rods will always include one on a trip.

  11. Enjoy it now, before the Mosquitoes get bad and try to carry you off @ night. Here in Fl. Ya can't pay me to fish on our lakes after dark. I have tried it and it is just plane misserable. Good Luck and stay after them.

  19. Rod tip down, tight line, That is why a fast reel is important. After hook set the fish normally will come up to get it of the mouth. Point the rod tip down and tight.
  20. Carry a pool thermometer in your tackle bag.
  21. I still use one for spinnerbait fishing.
