It is not a matter of me to "pony up" I always buy breakfast, pay total fuel expense for truck, boat plus total entry fee in the TNT. It is about the value of TNT vs. fuel and the 2 hours lost of fishing.

The president of the Bass club I am in, is also a very good friend of mine and has just purchased a new Ranger with 250 four stroke Yamaha. He is convinced without a shadow of doubt that Ethanol free gas should be the ONLY fuel to use. Even though the motor specs say regular with 10 % Ethanol is safe. In a upcoming tournament in which we are fishing together I have located big fish about a 1 hour run from our starting point. Because this is a club event there is not much money to be won so he has decided that it is just is not worth the 1 hour both ways seeing as Ethanol free gas is running about $4.30 a gallon here in Jacksonville Fl. I have no idea what his burn rate is at WOT(wide open throttle) but he is claiming that it is substantial enough to not make it worth it. What say you?

Panzironi stated in his video he let them go ahead because he knew he couldn’t make it. The result was one boat coming to neutral prior to getting to a narrow bridge (one reason there are no wake zones) and the other boat didn’t have enough room or time to stop. Amazingly no one was seriously injured, or worse yet, killed when one boat ended up completely on top of the other.

To my Bass Resource Friends, If you have ever had the virus known as “Chickenpox” then this virus ” varicella-zoster” lives dormant in your body forever and may @ anytime reservice as what is known as “Shingles” In my case, I had a Shingles vaccination years ago. I understand that there is a new vaccination that has a 91 % rate of success. However it is to late for me as this horrible Virus has surfaced on my forehead, scalp and right side of my face. It has swollen my right eye darn near shut, is EXTREMLY painful to the point I was prescribed Opioids and is itchy with blisters. These symptoms will last 2-4 weeks! It is not contagious to anyone that has had chicken pox but could affect someone that has not. I encourage anyone that has not received the new version of this vaccination to DO SO! Just happened to be watching MLF the other day and Suggs was wearing out smallish N.strain Bass with a Jerk bait. I noticed something different about his bait when he was unhooking one. He had a very small barrel swivel attached to the split ring of the bait. He did not talk about it I just noticed it. Only thing I can think of is that he did not want his knot possibly getting damaged by the gap in the ring. Your thoughts?

Made it out to my favorite lake yesterday with a friend from the Bass club I am in. I caught 9 total, jumped two more off and this kicker 5 3/4. Most fish were caught on a white Mini Max Chatter bait with white splittail trailer. Best 5 went about 14 lbs. Won't win many events with them numbers but still a fun day on the water.

The hair makes all the deference.
