It needs to going on the new reel the same direction it comes off the old one, with that being said, they should not face each other.

Lake Altoona Ga.
DNR confirmed the body of Jackson Croft, 17, of Woodstock, Georgia was found this afternoon. A search began after the bass boat he recently got was found empty and circling around 5 p.m. on Thursday. This was near JD's on the Lake. Cherokee County firefighters were able to jump on board, shut off the engine and tow it back to the marina. They immediately started to search the area. The search efforts were called off at dark and resumed this morning. Late this afternoon, Croft's body was located and recovered from the water. No PFD no kill switch. This could have been prevented. Wear it!

Hello from Italy – Question About Using Braid Directly for Texas Rig and Finesse
12 lb has a breaking strength around 19 Lbs. Here in Fl. with all the vegetation, wood, docks and the very real possibility of a giant I use 15lb that breaks around 21 or 22lbs. It depends on what tackle you are using and what baits you intend to use.

Fished my club event on Orange lake, Fl. yesterday.
No, we average 3 dead per event, the water temp is now in the 90's and livewell care is difficult @ best with that heat. The water temp is now in the 90's and livewell care is difficult @ best with that heat.

- Canoe trip on Lake Kissimmee turns deadly.
The couple headed out on a 14-foot canoe into Lake Kissimmee, which has the second highest population of alligators in the state with more than 16,000, according to a 2024 census from FWC. It's second only to Lake Okeechobee. According to Laskowski, Diekema was sitting in the bow of the canoe when it passed over a large Gator in 3 feet of water, when the alligator thrashed and tipped the boat over. The couple were sent into the water. "She ended up on top of the alligator in the water and was bitten," Laskowski said. "Her husband attempted to intervene was but unsuccessful."- Lake Fork
The tournament format will differ from the standard Elite Series event, as anglers will catch, weigh and release their fish. Anglers catching fish surpassing 24 inches (referred to as “overs”) may bring one to the weigh-in scales. Any fish brought to the weigh-ins are promptly released.Apr 30, 20- Canoe trip on Lake Kissimmee turns deadly.
At a news conference Wednesday, Florida Wildlife and Fish Maj. Evan Laskowski said the woman was sitting in the bow of a 14-foot canoe when the attack happened. She and her husband were in about 2.5 feet of water when the boat passed over a large alligator, he said. "The alligator thrashed and tipped the canoe over. Both individuals ended up in the water," Laskowski said. "She ended up on top of the alligator in the water and was bitten. Her husband attempted to intervene but was unsuccessful." The woman, who was identified as 61-year-old Cynthia Diekema of Davenport, Florida, was later recovered from the water and declared dead.- Caught in N.J. March 28th

14.1 lbs, 28" long, 22 inch girth, Caught in Georgia, Feb 1998 Grape Shad 10" culprit and is still my PB.- Gamakatsu G-Finesse Cover Neko Hook.
Anyone using these? Largest you can get is a 2/0. Wish they came larger as my first two bites with this rig resulted in a missed fish as the gap is not deep enough for a stick bait. They are however great with a Zoom trick worm which are much thinner either Wacky or Necko. Almost totally prevents line twist on spinning gear for me so far. - Canoe trip on Lake Kissimmee turns deadly.
