Scott Martin Self-DQ's at Lake Okeechobee
Based on what I know of the situation, which is just what I have read and listened to from podcasts, and although being in violation of the way this rule reads, I just do not think that was the "intent" of said rule. https://www.facebook.com/reel/935705555310265

So do ya think Lowen will go back to "Deep Creek" or his other spots? tough decision. Garret had an amazing bag with a 6.25 average. And is a real threat to win, should get interesting.

Is February too early to fish in the south?
The Fl Largemouth are spawning, this is just a cold snap that can happen any year in Feb. March is better usually, April better yet in N. Fl.

Elites on the St. Johns Fl.
Should be a tough day, as this morning temp @ Palatka City Docks (PCD) is 34 with a high of 54 @ weigh-in 3. PM Florida Largemouth do not like COLD SNAPS LOL Pretty sure the lion's share of the field will head south of Lake George.

Sad Day's
They depend on us for food, water, shelter, attention, and general caring and in return they give you unconditional loyalty. Then comes the day when you must do the terribly hard thing. Yesterday afternoon my wife and I said goodbye to our old, extremely loyal friend of 13 years. He was loved and will be greatly missed by our friends neighbors and mostly us. And today is not much differant as we are packing up his things to donate.

Another Cali. Monster.
@islandbass " If you call yourself a hardcore bass angler, then you know that California is known for producing some monstrous Largemouth Bass. While some anglers fish for fun, others spend countless hours and money chasing that one fish. Some are after a personal best, others, a world record. Greg Springer of Visa, Calif., caught and released a 16.3-pound monster bass on Lake Wohlford near Escondido on Friday, Feb. 26, 2016. This monster California bass was caught on a 3:16 Lure Company glide bait and was caught from shore! After encountering this massive bass a couple days prior, Springer was determined to land it, so he headed to the spot. Making a cast into some glass-like water conditions, the huge bass actually came up and swiped at his bait. Knowing that she probably got a good look at his swimbait and line because of the calm, clear conditions, Springer backed off and moved on down the bank. When I saw the wind come up in that area, I went back over there and she crushed it on the first cast,"said Springer. The monster California bass is Lake Wohlford's biggest bass in fifteen years. The lake record stands at 19 lb. 3 oz., caught in February of 1986 by Steve Beasley. "
