Starting My Own Tackle Business..
Wow thats insane. Very upsetting too. Yeh ill definately give it some thought, but there are a lot of events around here etc where i would beable to promote my product etc. But competing with bass pro and cabelas would be almost impossible its true. So i guess ill just learn how to make the stuff first and than think about it later down the road.

Starting My Own Tackle Business..
OK everyone I have some serious questions and feedback is greatly appreciated. Im thinking of starting my own tackle business that would sell Spinnerbaits, Buzzbaits, Soft Plastics, and maybe some Jigs. I might be applying for a small loan to get started financially and need some serious suggestions. How much do you think i will need to start with money wise?. This includes everyhting needed to make spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, jigs and molds. Have any of you ever tried this also? And finally..Are there any online turotials that show how to make spinnerbaits and buzzers and jigs? Maybe like a step by step illustrated walk through. I am totally new to this and never even tried swapping a blade off of a spinnerbait, so just imagine what i need to learn here. Any infoormation or suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks again -WM

My first lure (swimbait)
ROFL @ THAT That would probably be a killer surf fishing lure without a doubt

Yozuri ultra soft?!
Thanks to RW for reccomending this line. Its truly the best ive ever fished with both the original and the ultra soft. If you havent tried it, you might want to reconsider. Super tough too -WM

Wacky Rigging
I never understood the point of wacky rigging lol. Honestly what for? Its just a texas rig with the bait turned in different direction which dosent matter anyway because its not like you know what direction the fish's eyes are focused. And the hook is exposed which means more hangups and mossy grass to smack off your lure. Honestly please explain to me..the point of a wacky rig

Flippin Stick Gear ratio?/rod reccomendations
Ok so i need to get a flippin stick for flipping of course : and also a rod for swimbaiting. I also need a reel too. What gear ratio would i want on a reel to put on my flipping stick when flipping/pitching in heavy cover? Thinking about maybe getting a Revo-S or a Revo-SX but the gear ratio is a standard 6:4:1, i think 7:1:1 is available though also What gear ratio do you guys suggest? As for the rod, im thinking on getting a St.Croix premier 7"6 H ..this a good choice? If you recommend any rods/or reels for flipping or pitching please say so. Thanks guys -WM

What softbait works best in shallow water?
I would say probably a senko, soft jerkbait, a worm or a lizard. Any soft plastic weightless would probably work. Gl -WM

Skirt Suggestions SB/BB/JIGS
Lets hear it. : Im looking for the best quality skirts out there Rubber, and Silicone for Spinnerbaits/Buzzbaits and Jigs. Also looking for the best bang for my buck, a good skirt assortment with natural forage colors and a mix of other popular colors. Had a situation this weekend where i snag hooked a perch and figured thats what the bass were feeding on. So i immedeiately switched my presentation to meet the forage. Luckily out of the 10-12 skirts i had, i had one in perch color. So now i wanna make sure i have a good variety of colors to swap out skirts when the situation is needed. Please suggest what you had success with etc. Im looking for good skirts Thanks -WM

best scent/attractant?
Linzy, there are a lot of good fish attractants out there. There should be a wave of anglers in here shortly to let you know what they think is best/what they have had success with. I believe sometimes scent can make a difference on cold watyer conditions when bass have a small strike zone and arent as active. It might not start a feeding frenzy that day but if i believe the scent is going to get me maybe like 2-3 more bites im going to apply it to some of my baits. I use 3 scents: Megastrike BaitMate Live and Smelly Jelly Megastrike is a little more sticky and i like applying it to basically anyhting. As for Baitmate Live, i usually put some of this thick liquid in the hollow body of my frogs or tubes to give it kind of a scent trail. The forumula also has anise oil in it which makes it get rid of scents that repel fish. Smelly Jelly- I use this sometimes in the same conditions i would use megastrike. Try some scents and expiriment, and tell us how your results turn out. -WM

YUM Buzzfrogs Sink?
The reason i was only using 8lb was because i was fishing afoot. Im not gonna bring my entrie rod arsenal bank fishing with me LOL. I usually just bring a MH spinning combo with me while bank fishing with 8lb, so this way i can throw smaller baits and also baits with a little larger profile.

YUM Buzzfrogs Sink?
Thats Pretty Nice deal. I might have to checkout the super Wal-Mart Tommorow and see what the deal is. Thanks -WM
-
YUM Buzzfrogs Sink?
Yes but the bait fell at a fast rate, you could tell it sinks from the bait not the line even though thicker diameter mono would keep it up more. But what im trying to find out .....are theese things supposed to slowly sink or did i just get a bad bag?

STATE RECORD!!!!!!

YUM Buzzfrogs Sink?
Yeh i understand now. For some reason i just expected they would float. Especailly how the material felt after i opened the package. They do seem nice though because you can speed the retrieve up or slow it down. Anyone else try or have success with theese?
