  1. Way to stick it.
  2. Thanks for the link
  3. Swings are free. I set quick.
  4. I fish until I can't feel my face.
  5. The last two outings were fishless for me too, until yesterday. Fishing slow, slow, and then slower is the only way I even caught the fish yesterday....and it was only 1 fish from 10am-3:00pm
  6. Welcome
  7. Best of luck and things will hopefully look up for you shortly.
  8. Since it's from yo-zuri, it'll be good line.
  9. Any idea what this book is called someone?
  10. I don't know about the one you're talking about Matt, but speaking of new lures..... http://www.creatablecraw.com/ watch the videos.
  11. I agree about the lure being in the photo.

    Good pic man.
  13. Nice pic's That bait.... I can see it doing some damage in the spring.

Agreed. I do however, buy a ticket now and then........obviously never win too ;D
  15. I have gone to extremes too, but it seems my number 1 problem is, I get too good of hooksets, so no matter if I try and take the lure back the other way (from a boat too), or try the rubberband trick, it seems I get a good hookset in, so lure is not coming back from yo-zuri, or p-line cxx.
  16. It's hard to say w/o knowing the whole story, but a 25 acre lake could do very well. I have one I fish that has a couple 8's, 1 9lb, etc. They electro-fish it every couple of years, and number continue to increase. The draw back is people are starting to find out about the fish in there, and it's low now, so the cover is somewhat visible. >
  17. Nice pic!

owner rig-n-hooks work well too, but it sounds like you're not setting the hook hard enough. reel the slack up and pop the line!
  21. They did the city slicker thing already sam........it's called rods and wheels. The city lawyer and the rough military guy.........yeah the movie city slickers comes to mind.
  22. Scum frogs. Spro's are nice, but not at 8$ a piece! Scum frogs are cheap, stay on top nicely, and I can cast one a mile.
  23. Blue gill are cousins of bass. They are active too.
  24. Sometimes being the bigger man is the hardest thing to do. I have some buddies who have no desire to learn to flip, or fish a jig, or learn to throw swimbaits etc. You do what you do, and they will follow, or find another way to catch fish. If they are not catching fish, don't keep asking them to go........
