  1. Fly in for the Toledo Bend road trip this year if you can that's asking a lot but hey you never know until you ask right?
  2. I mocked up the sale. Not sure if this is any easier to read than @iabass8's list but here you go anyways. This link is easier to see than the small version it puts on here.
  3. I think your money would be better spent on proven baits

Makes sense! Subtraction isn't that hard anyways
  5. @iabass8 is a prophet! edit: actually, I figured out what you did... Does the word "inspect" ring a bell?
  6. That is a cool article, thanks for sharing

If you put the grip on the scale before you turn it on does it zero the scale so that you don't have to subtract?
  8. Check out how sweet my fiance is!! How did she know what to get me for my birthday?? Maybe because she handed me her card and I ordered it myself Anyways she let me open my Rapala order a day early, here's the loot
  9. Mine are ½ oz also, here's another seminar for you:
  10. I just ordered 2 packs of those yesterday as backups in case my project fails

@A-Jay I'm getting a setup very similar to that one tomorrow for my birthday - oh wait I'm not supposed to know that! Anyways its a Rapala fish gripper & scale combo and there's a ring on the gripper that you can attach to the scale or you can use them separately.
  12. Thanks for your time Mark Cuban
  13. Is that so? I use CXX all the time and haven't had this happen (yet). It would be a serious issue if my 250 broke off
  14. Same here. It never gets too cold to fish on Toledo, just too windy sometimes.
  15. You might try a 4" Spro BBZ shad in the floating model
  16. I have a Daiwa 8' H Zillion that I like. The handle is 18" from butt to fore grip, perfect for tucking underneath my armpit. (it's frustrating that you can't rotate photos when uploaded directly to a thread from your phone...) I've thrown from Hudd 68s to Deps 250s on it, but I feel like the 250 is a little too heavy for that rod even though I can get away with it. Get on the Swimbait Badlands page on FB to find a 175, just check regularly because they always sell fast
  17. Honestly not much of this sounds overly intriguing to me except maybe the fishing line one. Hopefully my wallet can take a breather after I made several orders the last couple days
  18. edit: Update - scroll down to see my progress Saw this video recently showing a way to make a feathered treble in no time at all. Has anyone tried this method before? I think I'm going to try it on the Lobina Ricos that I have coming. They didn't come with hooks so I ordered hooks but forgot to buy feathered ones, and I think they're over priced anyways so I want to try to make them myself using this method and see how it works. I'll update this thread in about a week when I get back home to Texas where my Ricos will be waiting on me.
  19. I've caught fish on mine. Is it worth the money? I'm not sure. I haven't thrown it enough to give a real in depth review and I haven't compared it side by side with the knock offs.
  20. Not all tackle, but here's a few things I've picked up recently (once all my tackle orders come in I'll have to make another post ). A bright yellow PFD so I can stay safe on my inflatable kayak this coming spring, an automatic PFD that will keep me safe fishing from the boat, a reel bag to store em all in (other reel bag is full ), a small tackle bag to keep all my ultralight/crappie/trout tackle in, and a new 6'6" ultralight rod with a 500 size reel full of 4lb line. @TxHawgs I have the 8' H Zillion SB rod, it's awesome.
  21. Great looking jigs @A-Jay! Here are mine, designed with aid from WRB. The heads are Yamamoto football heads from TW, hair was tied by a local guy (I'm not there yet), I just painted the heads with model paint.
  22. Calling @WRB... He's the master of hair jigs. He'll probably tell you to tie real buck tail on your jigs and try to find some pork to go with it. I won't speak for him though, he can do the talking. Grab your note book.
  23. I ordered a 9" MS Slammer for $44 from Last Chance and 3 Rico blems + hooks & rings for $35 Get me off of the internet!! I don't have a job for the next month because I'm going home for Christmas so the spending needs to slow down maybe I'll pick up some odd jobs while I'm home to pay for all this stuff
  24. Put mine in the mail today (should ship out Monday) and I got so excited about sending it that I forgot to put a note or something to indicate who it's from! So whoever gets a package with Jordan in Oklahoma on the return address, that's me
  25. With the site being down for awhile it made me realize how much I visit. I must have clicked my bookmark 100 times just to get the same error message every time.
