  1. He didn't say small, he said a bit on the small side for a big squarebill, which is correct as the 8.0 is significantly larger
  2. This is why I got a Hudd Gill in the Crappie pattern recently. Can't wait to throw it
  3. It doesn't have near the glide that the big one does, just because of the size. But it seems like it should still get bit. I haven't thrown it enough
  4. Gantarel Jr
  5. I acquired a Deps 250 recently (worth around $150), and I've hung it up on logs probably 6 or 8 times so far. Keep a lure retriever on you and you'll be okay
  6. Nice work! I gave up on worm binders awhile back because I can't find any that have durable bags. For me the sides of the bags always bust out...
  7. You're wanting a 200? The smaller ones are inexpensive. But for color, I personally would get Party Crasher
  8. I'd be interested to see these heads side by side with the z-man. Is the hook larger or heavier wire or are they roughly the same? I personally wouldn't mind a more sturdy hook version of a ned rig head
  9. I agree with this. Their product line is very confusing, and I think they overdo the "speed" thing. I get that they want to remember the old original "speed spool" but dang near every item is "speed" something. Speed spools speed socks speed covers speed line speed beam speed shield... Why? Once again all that being said I love Lew's and I hope the buyout helps them.
  10. Mods are people too Just because someone is a moderator on a forum doesn't mean they know everything! That being said, I am definitely a Lews guy too. I have 4 and 3 on the way But I also have Daiwa & Shimano stuff. I think they each have great reels.
  11. So Shimano stole you away with that one?
  12. TW has the previous model Zillion for 40% off that's a great deal. Zillions are great reels and last forever!!
  13. There's always the livetarget baitball stuff. Never used them but in theory it seems like that would be an ideal situation to use them in
  14. Great advice there @"hamma"
  15. No way that it compares to an SV spool
  16. I definitely have the same problem!! As others have said, as long as you don't get yourself into financial trouble over it you're fine
  17. You might call them. I thought the same thing with a buckeye jig that broke on my first hookset, they never replied... I still need to call them. Obviously not a huge deal, I have other jigs, but it was obviously a defect
  18. Japan model. Don't you wish we had all these different models in the US?
  19. Nope. Sounds like you got a defective one to me
  20. Yeah people tend to grossly overestimate how much "old" fishing stuff is worth...
  21. depends on the length
  22. No. We like to talk about stuff that doesn't make a colossal difference imagine what the forums would look like if nobody discussed things that made very minor differences
  23. Casitas MGL, not the regular one Smaller, lighter, x-ship. Feel free to choose which one you want, I was just sharing what my choice would be
  24. Yeah I feel bad for OP's bank account
