I read on here once that Lew's reels are compatible with a lot of Abu Garcia parts. Can anyone confirm this? I might want some Hedgehog studios parts for a couple Lew's reels at some point. There is a Lew's section on the site but it isn't very good

Interesting! I was referring to the new translucent stealth braid, hopefully it will be better than invisi braid. You could be right on the color issue

SpiderWire released a translucent braid that is fluoro coated. Supposed to be less visible than your traditional braids. I could see this coming in handy for the "finesse frogging" technique that blew up on here. I'm interested to see if it's as tough as other braids, though.

Now that's a serious lure retriever... Is there any way to open it back up after it clamps on to something? I could see myself sticking it on a big tree and being really stuck.

WOW, an informative video that isn't 10+ minutes long!! That's one of the main things that annoys me about a lot of fishing youtube videos... Near impossible to find them under 5 minutes, some videos go 20+ minutes. Nice video!

I don't know what bass see, but when scuba diving in 20+ feet of water I could see colors just fine During the day, mostly clear skies, ~8ft visibility underwater.
