  1. Captain, hey blood, you ain't talking about one of my hoe's are you? You mess around with one of my hoe's without payin me up front and I'll cut you up real bad.
  2. Kent, your Grampa was my kind of man! ;D
  3. Thanks for the reply captain. Keep up the good work.

    Muddy, PM sent.
  5. Muddy, I apologize for sending that money to you in error. There was $1,500 in that envelope. Please keep $100 for yourself (for your honesty) and return the remaining $1,400. Many thanks.
  6. Ain't it amazing what raging hormones will cause a young man to do? Captain, you certainly are an optimist. The chances of a young lady of your age, living in PA, frequenting a bass fishing web site, hoping to meet a young man, are almost infinitesimal. Can't blame a horny guy for trying. though. ;D
  7. I used the same thickness of plywood that SeaEagle would have supplied, but I saved myself over $200 by cutting and installing all the boards myself. The only piece of wood I bought from Eagle was the trolling motor mount. I have since replaced it with a wider board to accommodate the wheel assembly I "invented."
  8. When I attended the BR get together at Lake Fork last March, I went out with Muddy one afternoon in the rental boat. The gas fumes were awful! As soon as we got back to the dock, Muddy got off the boat and the horrible gas fumes went away.
  9. Happy Birthday! I'm sending you an envelope full of money. Would I lie?

Fishbear, what the hell is Russ gonna do with a woman who can't sew or shuck corn? I wouldn't blame him a bit if he never responded to your post. Geez, you are trying to sell defective goods. ;D
  11. Nice photos Ronnie, and a very pretty daughter. I hope you two had a great trip.

Muddy, are you back already? I was just about to start a smear campaign against you. Now I can't do it. > Go away for a couple of weeks and I guarantee that when you come back I'll have everyone believing that you are cone-head with bulging, red, bleeding eyes and a vicious, violent, vindictive temper.
  13. I got lucky. Before tying the knot for the time I researched it on the internet. If I hadn't, I would still be trying to push that doubled line through the eye of the hook.
  14. No, you will not get accurate depth measurements unless the transducer is submerged in water.
  15. I bought mine at Walmart. Even with the pedestal and swivel, it doesn't weigh more than a couple of pounds.
  16. Hey Pal, I'm not the orian, you are! ;D
  17. If you will re-check the post you will notice that the word "to" has been changed to "too." I didn't catch the error until I had posted it. Also, this site will not allow me to spell the word azz properly. Big Brother is watching. Regardless, thanks very much for taking the time to check my spelling and grammar; and thank your parents and teachers that you have the knowledge to do so.
  18. ;D That was a good one! I love that sort of trivia! Now, please explain "Colder than a witch's in a brass brazier" ;D ;D ;D
  19. Burley that was an easy one. If you want to play at decoding I suggest you try http://wordzap.com/enigma/enigma.asp Fisher, if the kids want to play with the grown-ups instead of going to their own forum, a few of us grown-ups will take them to task when they butcher the English language. I'm sorry, I just can't help it. This is NOT the forum for text messaging or for a teener-to-teener talk. I suppose I will be the constant pain in the azz for those who are too lazy to at least try to use correct spelling, pronunciation and capitalization.
  20. flyphisher, I grew up in deep South Louisiana, in a little town South of Lafayette called Abbeville. If you want to move to that part of the world, you will be living amongst the Cajuns, who are some of the finest people in the world. I should know, I married one. You will also be living amongst heat and humidity like you wouldn't believe. Also, let's not forget the salt marshes, which breed mosquitoes like you wouldn't believe. Beaumont is just across the Louisiana border and suffers from the same conditions. I'm sure there are nice areas in Beaumont, but it is a heavy industry area. I grew up down there, but I will never move back. Sure, the fresh and salt water fishing, along with hunting are great, but, as far as I am concerned, the disadvantages far outweigh the advantages.
  21. I disagree with Raul. The first time it's your fault, and every time thereafter. Never, Ever leave your gear in the boat or in your car/truck.
  22. : : :
  23. Stay the hell away from Beaumont. Go to the hill country.
  24. Muddy, PM sent.
