  1. I would assume it is split loom tubing, you can buy it at most automotive parts stores or try an auto salvage yard. http://www.wiringproducts.com/index1.html
  2. Has the motor always had this issue or just start? I would inspect your wiring and make sure it is proper gauge for the amount of current for the trolling motor. It would be best to have a secondary battery for the depth finder to power from. If wiring is proper size and in good condition I would speculate the trolling motor to be the problem?
  3. split ring pliers, and everything else suggested
  4. Here's from the start getting all the stringers fit All the floatation foam poured This is after I wetsanded and buffed the top cap Finally finished the carpet throughout the entire boat, and installed the new Minnkota
  5. Quantum Accurist baitcaster, lasted about 10 outings before it went in the garbage. I didn't use it much but it was out of warranty.
  6. I broke a Compre last year, it was my fault too. I sent it back with proof of purchase and had a new rod in about a week. Just me personal experience no questions asked. It only cost me for the shipping one way.
  7. On the 4th of July I had the pleasure of meeting Denny Brauer, taking some pictures, and getting a couple autographs. It was fun to meet somebody like him, he shared some tips and ideas with me. We were able to get a couple family photos with him. I think my son enjoyed climbing around his boat I feel we're lucky to have great people like him to represent the sport of bass fishing.

  9. I keep my outboard down a vast majority of time, I think it helps stabilize the boat, somewhat acting as a rudder. You'll especially notice a difference in any amount of wind.
  10. Nice boat, I think you should give it to me so I can try it out for you
  11. I would have to say my best producer is chartruese, but I'll use a variety of colors white, black, brown something natural. Most of the time
  12. I think the Falcon spinnerbait and buzzbait box are kind of hassle to use, I know everytime i want to put a spinnerbait away I'm not wanting to hook the arm of the lure to the hook just to put it away, and the buzzbait box is worthless unless you have the same buzzbaits with the same blades. JMO
  13. I've done well with Strike King Bleeding Buzzbait in the past few years, they seem to come squeaky out of the box. I've also had good success with the Honeybuzz and Cavitron.
  14. Don't use armorall on anything, even your car !! The U-40 cork seal works well and you can't hardly tell there is any coating on the cork.
  15. Pistol grips are great when fishing tight to cover with short casts, when working spinnerbaits, cranks, buzzbaits. If you ever watch Hank Parker you'll see he uses them fairly often. I think they're great when covering lots of water, and have good accuracy.
  16. The best way to fix one is to take it back and get a shimano or daiwa ;)JK
  17. I would say,the free spinnerbaits and buzzbaits my uncle use to give me when he worked with a lure company
  18. I've probably caught more fish on a white spinner bait w/colorado blade than any other bait
  19. I would say buy the nicest pair you can afford, go to the store and try them on to make sure they're comfortable, etc. The interchangeable lenses are a nice feature. I have a pair of Costa's and they've been great over the past few years, the lenses are still like new.
  20. I have the advantage ST, and i really like the reel. I've had mine for several years and have had no problems. I like the profile of the reel because it sits nice on a rod and is comfortable to palm. I'd say go to the store and compare the feel of the two and decide from there.
  21. Here is my project I'm trying to finish up before the fishing season, I'm replacing the stringers and floor. The boat is also waiting for some new carpet, minnkota maxxum, on board charger, new batteries. Here are a few pics so far, I'm hoping to start the fiberglass this weekend.
  22. depending how easily it is flaking off you might be able to power wash alot of the clear off, if not then wet sanding will probably be the next option.
  23. -Death Coming home from Cabela's and telling your wife how much you spent (JK)
  24. Go with the Daiwa, an accurist was the first quantum i owned, and it will be the last. It didn't even last a year for me, and yes i took care of it and had it lubed/cleaned properly. I have the advantage supertuned and i really like it.
  25. I would have to go with spinnerbaits and buzzbaits, but I'm going to throw a jig more this year so that could possibly change.
