IMO yes. Spiderwire was the first braid I used and used it for a whole season. After joining this site I got some power pro and it is clearly better braid. I wouldn't get 20lb for a baitcaster tho. 30lb works great for me for most everything

Well I finally received all the baits I need to ship out. Some where custom colors which is maybe what took so long. Will be shipping out Monday morning and will probably be express so they make it in time. There headed to some guy named Kent in TN. Like bluebasser in my area dams are the prime spot for big hybrids and catfish. I don't fish up close to them for bass but the first mile down river is always hot when the water is moving

When i was about 14 I had some friends come over to pick me up. One of them was in the bathroom and I took that spare time to show the other guys an antique rabbit ear double barrel 12 gauge that was at least 50 years old. It had been in the gun cabinet since I was born and I'd never seen it shot. (My friend in the bathroom thought someone got shot) apparently my dad decided to load it just in case and I didn't come home that weekend until I absolutely had too.

Some good advice above. Ill add that anytime your in an area and your not sure about the bottom contour. Pick up your jig and use it to find out by dragging and hopping it around. This way your learning about the area you fish and I garuntee you will catch fish while doing that.

Growing up in Florida I was never really afraid. I've fed many a gators. Had one trained on dog food until i picked him up one day(3 footer). He would still eat but never came close to me again. I would only be afraid of a gator if I came up on a fresh nest with a big mamma around. Moccasins are what you need to really be watching out for

Most transom savors will hook right into this just take the big "C" off the end. Hope this helps some
