Fishing with Braided Line
I use braid with leaders on 90% of my reels. 30lb is my favorite, but 50lb on my frog/punching gear.

Looking for a Froggin combo that could also be used for inshore
I always use medium or mh rods for inshore because I throw soft plastics on lighter jig heads. I don't throw anything heavy enough to use a mag heavy rod. As far as reels, the zillion coastal looks sweet.

Tatula JDM/USDM comparison
I always seem to prefer the JDM stuff.

What reel on what rod.
A 6.3 and 7.1 are both very well rounded ratios, but even more important is the inches per turn. Let's assume the 7.1 is about 29 ipt and the 6.3 is 26 ipt then I'd use the 7.1 for t rigs and the 6.3 for moving baits.

medium light casting rod
The phenix m1 is a good choice as well as the other one your talking about. I have a klx finesse rod that I like a lot.

How many of you....
One of my favorite things about my tdz, steez and TD Ito is the fact that the spools are interchangeable. I go a step further by having multiple spools capable of multiple applications like finesse, skipping, pitching and long bombing.

what do you guys do when you get skunked?
Everyone gets skunked from time to time, but 3 weeks is a long time especially this time of the year. I fish from a yak most of the time so if I get skunked I just enjoy the water, weather and scenery. Luckily I don't skunk often in the yak. Oddly enough, I skunk the most often when I'm in the back of my buddy's boat. I swear he is bad luck sometimes, lol.

Fluorocarbon leader.
I use sniper for leader. The stuff designated as "leader," is a little different but it's expensive. I have used cheaper fluoro for leaders for years without issue.

Shimano Stradic CI4+...over-rated.
Lol, I'm sure you'll get some people fired up but you're just expressing your opinion. I'll admit that I don't use spinning gear so the most expensive spinning reel I own is a president. I almost bought a ci4+ in December, but I quickly realized that I just don't need it. If I were to get an expensive reel I'd probably get an fk because it would balance better on a 7' rod.

Best deep cranking line
Don't forget that line diameter is also a factor. 30lb has line diameter of 8lb mono. I have no problem getting baits deep and I prefer the sensitivity I get from the non-stretch. I can deal with vegetation better too. Just my preference.

Best deep cranking line
30 lb braid with the drag backed off.

Big splashes
It could be carp. This time of the year, carp are spawning and they make quite a ruckus.

Opinions on my next reel purchase, please.
Lew's make some great reels. I prefer daiwa/shimano but started with Lew's and they have always been trouble-free and used friendly. Congratulations on your purchase.

Skeet Reese Rod
I don't think it's fair to make judgements about people on TV that you don't know. He seems like a funny guy and I'm sure he's a great guy to know. I used to make snap judgements based on brief interactions with people only to find out later how inaccurate I was.

Gear ratio for swim jig
I use a 7.1 reel for swim jigs, chatter baits and spinnerbaits.

Braid + Mono Leader For Top Water ?
I use braid with leaders on almost every reel.

Fished my new Dobyns rods today
The new HP rods look amazing. So tempted to pick one up.

Lightest flouro you'd trust for 5/0 hook sets
I use 5/0 hooks for larger plastics like 10" worms and 6" senkos. I don't change line to use the baits.

Crankbait Spinning Rod
I would say a 7' medium/ fast. I use a medium/ fast casting rod for traps, but used to use a spinning rod before. You need that fast tip to rip it through the vegetation.

Wanting to get behind one rod brand
I like a variety. If I did only one it would be either megabass or g Loomis. It would be very expensive.

Skeet Reese Rod
Go for it. Let us know how you like it.

Crankbait Rod Advice
I used to have a mojo glass and really regret selling it. Great rod. Currently I'm using a klx CRT, but haven't used it much yet.

<$100 Spinning Rod Combo
Pflueger trion is a good reel that is cheaper than the president. I'll bet cabelas will have a memorial day sale so maybe check out the Fenwick then.

How to fix a broken rod tip?
4" seems like a lot and I imagine it would it into a broomstick.
