  1. Nope, I’m looking for another 8
  2. Went out again to the spot, missed another giant and got a “small fish”
  3. Hahah yep, that’s what I do as well
  4. I’ve been learning this spot for years. Right now it’s prime time to stick the giants here. Just gota get out there and fish. It’s a hot bite, so I’ll keep grind it until it stops
  5. Went back to the same spot today. Stuck a smaller fish but missed a big fish. d**n wind blow slack in my line, couldn’t set the hook
  6. Finally got my goal bass, I’ve been hunting this fish for years. Countless hours and heartbreaks. I started out waking up at 430 am, feeling like crap, mixture of expired cheese and a couple of beers the night before. Almost didn’t go, but I said I have to, I wouldn’t catch my dream fish sleeping in. Got to the spot at 7 am. I got a small bass just shy of 3 on the DS glide. Few cast later I caught this giant. Didn’t know she was this big until I weighed her, thought it was a 6er maybe 7. She hit the glide along a drop off to a spawning flat. Slowly worked, she just nipped the hook, only one hook point in the top lip. She went 8lbs 2 ounces 22 inches. I’m so happy to finally break 8lbs in MA! I needed to change my undies after that fish
  7. I caught an 8lb 2 ounce Massachusetts giant on Sunday. I knew that pond I fished had my new PB in it. I knew the feeding times and what time of year to be there. Perfect conditions! Cloudy calm, new moon early morning . She just barely nipped the DS glide bait. Countless hours and heartbreaks goes into sticking a giant. Study the habits of certain fish. There’s a lot goes into it, the passion, the hours, experience, skill and luck!

  9. Till it almost hits the rod tip
  10. Yea just a one day thing! We will be good
  11. I’d fish a lot more after work! I hate those 4 pm sunsets
  12. First striper of the year today!
  13. Stuck a giant yesterday on the kayak. She went 7lbs 5 ounce on a glide bait. Fished around the pond without anything, came back to that spot and stuck a 5 on the last cast.
  14. I’ve got some good largemouth on hair jigs. I love tying them!
  15. Thanks buddy. Was hoping she was going 5
  16. Only got one today. She was a good fish. 4.10 on a DS glide bait. Had another whack on that bait, missed one on a T rig
  17. I do. Sometimes they want one over the other! Like a 9 inch slammer over a psycho gill or a toxic wake and crank over a gas rat!
  18. Oh yes!!!! Different wiggles, different speeds, Different sounds, different water displacement. I love fishing big wake baits.
  19. don’t know the length, I measured it on the net handle tho. Thought it was a giant bass. Destroyed the jerkbait
  20. That was a grind. Spot number 1 was tough, guys there for a bit before me got some good ones on jerkbaits and a 5er. I got one on the new glide bait, few other whacks on a different glide. Fished another pond, missed a big fish on a real prey, had another monster follow it to the boat. 2 small bass and 2 pickerel on a jerkbait. Got my PB pickerle at 5.5lbs
  21. Jerkbaits, I flat out suck with them, even though I know they work
  22. Slammer and a real prey swimbait have been the best big bait for me, they have caught the most big bass for me.
  23. A real prey swimbait and a zoom fluke
