Cabela's premium Goretex parka and pants. I got the chaper nylon stuff first, but it's really delicate. The Gore kept me dry for 6hrs in a Florida thunderstorm. I fished it straight, I just kept the rod low. ;D ;D I use northface goretex light weight hiking boots.

They take a bit to fall. Just grab a beer and enjoy the view. Then when you remember you have a worm out there, twitch it a little, wait, pick up a little. Very laid back fishing. Nothing like assaulting with a spinner or crank, this is more mellow.

Oh man, did someone say, slow? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Them boys ain't kidding. This alone has changed my "luck" big time. Just make sure there are fish in your pond. Could just be Buicks in there. ;D

I've caught on both weightless and trig with just a 1/4oz on there. The black and the pumkin (redish lookin). I fish them real slow. Like 2 sips slow. Al

I took my buddy from work bass fishing. He'd not been in quite a while, so I gave him my spinner and a fluke. He hit a 3-4 lbr on the second cast (big fish of the day > ). You can't fish this lure wrong, even if you don't know what it is. I told him to jerk it around a little...and he did!! ;D ;D I like to rig it with a 3/0 or 4/0 ewg Gammy on light line. YMMV.

I'm going to hire my kid to stand there and take pics. I'm getting much better at this bass fishing gig, I need a crew. ;D Avid, I'll do my best next time, I still get really excited when I land a big fish. I'm surprized I don't drop the camera sometimes. I don't know how you do it in the canoe. Those things look tippy, stabalizers or not. Its been really bad out. The water level is so low I can see all the man made structure in my pond...chairs, picnic tables, garbage cans, etc. I love big city ponds...might pull up a body one day, you never know. : ;D

Finally got a day off and went out today. 0830-1200, 4 dinks and this pig. I had been reading slow worm around the site for the last few days, so I gave it to her a Junebug Culprit 3/0 Gammy and 1/4 wt. I took like 4 pics why they ALL > came out smeared and full of grass and trees I will never know . This is the best one. She drew blood out my thumb. That was a nice fish. She almost got back into the pond on her own. I just hooked the bottom lip.

and NICE fish!!! Chicks that fish are few and far between here in FL. Thats really cool that your mom fishes like a pro WPD. I wish my wife would fish. We go out shooting alot, but thats big bucks. Fishing is more chill, less bucks. Alex
