New 2 Bass

I voted no but wanted to say sometimes. I nailed a bass to hendrix voodoo child once. As the sun was coming up, you know w/ the red sky. Very nice. Usually I fish in silence.

Nice job. I can so tell she is from down here. She is in full makeup, acrylics, and fab shades on a fishing trip. I wonder if shes in platforms or sneakers? My wife would have brought the platforms. No kidding. I keep joking shes gonna fall in one day. I will save her...after I laugh though. Al

fishingmachine. Thats a cool fish, nicer than what I've caught here in Dade. Hale pretty much said it all. Everybody I've talked to sends me to C-111 down in the boonies. I have not had any luck in Dade east of 826. You can use shinners for easy catching. Lures are not as "automatic". We were supposed to have had an issue in between 96-99 w/ some sort of cool spell which may or may not have killed off alot of them. Yeah really, it was like 40, which is "arctic" for a native S Floridian. I was told by many there were none in my pond, but I proved otherwise. I even reported it to an FWC biologist, who was happy to have heard that they returned to this spot. Cool fish. Its like a smash and grab hit on the lure (local humor). At least it is for me. I always get hit the same way. They zoom in and try to rip the lure away. Not the thump I'm used to from a LMB. Al

I'll put in my Senko, Lizard, Fluke, Trickworm, HornyToad. On a short list. Just slow it up. I don't like hard baits, but if they work for you....enjoy. If that doesn't work you can tie a small bluegill to the tracks and wait for the train to hit her. ;D ;D

I had an alright Dec. Lots of fish on * products. Best was the 5" sticks, second was the Lizard. I don't fish hard baits much. Can't seem to catch anything on 'em. The Super Flukes have not been getting bit. Not since...Oct, maybe. The Hydrilla at my pond up and turned yellow and rolled over. I'm waiting for it to come back. Hope it brings more fish. It also kept all the other anglers away. ;D

Its Heavy Duty Polyester as opposed to treated paper like material. Its pretty heavy, you can't roll it up and put it in a hip pack. I can put my parka and pants into a small jansport backpack w/ 2 3700 planos and a small binder. Its a bulky pack but not heavy. I'd compare in size & weight to a light winter jacket. Its not the "packable" stuff by any means. I got it only because it had the coolmax lining. And its always hot down here. Its 80 today and its Dec 30. I would but it all over again. Now if you want really "packable" stuff. I guess the frogg toggs would win. You can stash those anywhere. Al

Get the Gore-tex its great. I bought twice. I got the cheap stuff (nylon), the first time. The Gore-tex really holds up. I also walk threw brush, and jump fences sometimes to get to a spot. It kept me dry for almost 6hrs under a nasty Florida Thunderstorm. I know its pricy but I find its nice. I cant say anything about frogg toggs. Never seen them or tried them. But some folks here love them. I was going to get some for my uncle. Later

I kill the Bluegills with a grilled Ball Park Frank. All Beef. ;D I cut it into little chunks and hide a #1 circle hook in it. If they are on to you, down size to a #4 hook and smaller chunk. I used to use a ball of ready made dough. Got it in a tube out of the grocers fridge. Way to messy. And the dogs are money. Al
