Sportfishing Stages (read my post for info.)
I've been bass fishing a long time. When I first started, catching bass(any size)was all that matters. Now that i can consistantly do that,(I don't )I find myself looking for them hawgs.I want to cath the biggest bass out of any given water.I'm not saying I do but that's what I'm after.I would much rather catch one nice bass over ten dinks anyday. I'd have to say #3 and #4

Anyone use a gheenoe?
Hey Avid, Just curious why no "bass buddy" type pontoon thingies. I was planing on getting a basshunter this year. Thought it might be perfect for some of the farm ponds and gravel pits I mainly fish.Wondering why you decided against it,just trying to get some input or a different point of veiw.Sorry to get off topic.Just wondering

Your #1 Pre-Spawn Bassin Technique.
Here in my neck of the woods. If that water temp. gets any where near 40 degrees the cray fish start to move ,and therfore so do the bass. Jig and pig, plastic craws work well, but a deepdiving crankbait is simply deadly. Crank it down and let it dig in the bottom and hang on, I've Caught most of my bigger bass in Feb. march. This past feb. caught a 5.5lber on a deep diver, water temp. 39 degrees.
