  1. Hey Smithy! Yes, been throwing baits such as the s-waver, i-slide, tiny klash, magdrafts etc, and doing pretty good! Biggest thing for me is picking the days and time to throw a big swimsbait for maximum efficiency, since i still got to get videos out :D
  2. Shimano Exage 7"6 cranking stick, what i use for 6xds and up
  3. i use a shimano blackmoon backpack, love it so far!
  4. Wait for the cured k to come out, its going to be a wicked reel for sure!
  5. Shimano Casitas reel with a Shimano exage 7'2 MH F rod, $220 combo. I have a couple and they are great for the price! The curado 70 is also a great reel.
  6. Im near Toronto too. I order for TWH once a year or so, but other then that i go to gagnon sports in Oshawa or Sail.
  7. 9ft rods? yea those must be new
  8. a 7ft medium heavy is a great all around bait casting rod, it wold cover most applications. i would go with a 7 gear ratio casitas though.
  9. For me its the ANGLERS CHOICE KILL SHOTS, look them up, absolutely deadly!
  10. To cover all of the basics, all you need is a medium fast spinning combo and a medium heavy bait casting combo. ie. 7ft Medium fast spinning rod, 2500-3000 size spinning reel with braid to fluorocarbon leader. Use the fluorocarbon for finesse applications and take it of for poppers etc. 7ft to 7'2 medium heavy fast baitcatsing combo, really any reel over $100 (you get what u pay for) and i recommend braid or fluorocarbon (depends if you use crank baits or not - fluorocarbon). Check out the new Shimano exam rods, only $100. Other then that your tackle will build over time, cranking rods etc. Tight lines!
  11. Yupp! Smallies love brush hogs on a split shot!
  12. Go to store and hold a Shimano Exage rod - just released. Although i event fished one yet, they feel great for the price tag! I would stay stick to a 7ft MHF as an all around rod, tight lines!
  13. Sold my lews after a week to buy another tatula, amazing reels. Im just not a huge fan of the feeling of the lews.
  14. Thank you, yea haha i come on here if i have time!
  15. i found a local guy selling, yes i still love my tatulas lol! trying it out tmw finally
  16. I have been eyeing them for a couple of days now, I'm really impressed with how they feel! Let me know if u have any issues
  17. not selling, just trying to figure out how much they are worth lol, yea i noticed lol, thanks! Looks like i got it for a good deal
  18. So i recently picked up a Shimano Chronarch 50e and i was wondering how much its estimated worth is - i want so see if it was a good deal or not. Brand new, never used, in package. Thanks!
  19. Shimano Chronarch 50e (brand new) & Chronarch 200e (almost brand new) still in their boxes. Happy i got there fast!
  20. i have used them, great jerk bait for the price. Definitely one of my top jerk baits.
  21. i only use these hooks now - no line twist (braid to flouro line), and bait stands up straight
  22. I use the owner ultra head shakey heads - favourite shake head i have used so far! as for the weight, go with the lightest you can getaway with - depending on wind and depth etc. I tend to use the 1/4 the most.
  23. i have used the yearling poppers, square bills and jerk baits, and yea they have caught me fish. Yes it is effective, but so are rapalas and ivd squarebills, which are also cheaper. it just depends if you want to spend the money on it, but they do have a place in my tackle box!
