Carrot Stix?
Im looking at Delo's and im thinking about getting the spinning version of they carrot stick thats on there, but when I look at the info on that site and on the e21 site they are different specs Delos: -CS671M-S 6'7" Med ModFast 1/8 - 3/8 4-10 lb $149.95 E21's: -Model # CLTX671M-S Grip: 9", Length: 6'7", Action: MFAST, Power: MED, Lure WT: 3/16-5/8, Line WT: 2-8lb Now I cant seem to find the model delos has on the e21 site, I was just wondering if its a mix up or something. I just want to clarify that the carrot stick that delos is selling has the right specs. Also, can anyone who has bought that spinning version give me some opinions on it? strength wise and such.

plug gap for 78 model 100 hp evinrude
If that engine is 2-stroke NEVER put just straight gas to it. You need to find out what year that engine is and find out what mixture its supposed to take. Since you've had a range of 50:1 and 25:1 and it still doesnt run right, the problem is beyond the fuel. I wouldnt go lower than 25:1.

Question about my truck.
a ruff idle is pretty hard to diagnose because it can be many things: iac motor (idle air control) clean or replace tps sensor (throttle position sensor) clean throttle body (carb cleaner) bad plugs or wires? like flyhatch mentioned. But it can also be a vacuum leak or a dirty EGR valve (piece of carbon stuck in the EGR prevnting it from closing properly) If your check engine light is going on and off take it to a garage who will hook up a scanner to your vehicle for a low price, but ur best bet is to do a tune-up (pretty cheap), plugs, wires, air filter, yaddy yada. Thhus elminating that issue. Those 4.0L ford engines had issues with them. The main one is that the timing chain for the driver side of the engine is in the front, while the timing chain for the passenger side is on the friggin back of the engine :-/ and for some reason the timing components seem to wear out faster than normal. The next main issue is they had big problems with overheating. The reason for this is because the exhaust valves are close to the intake side of the heads which means that the very hot exhaust gases have to travel through the whole width of the head (exact same problems and issues with the flathead ford).

Pontoon Boat
I don't have experience with these, but to me it looks pretty darn safe. Its low profile which will decrease the chance of tipping/ rollover etc. and all your weight sits directly in the middle which would even things out. I don't think i would wanna go too far out in a lake with it especially if its a bit choppy. Personally I would take that thing over a canoe any day.

Brown/Rainbow clear water spinning
Acme little cleos, you wont be disappointed with these . This is the main spoon I use when fishing for browns and bows. Ive had alot of luck with the green/chart, silver/blue, silver/green colours.

Lipless crank depths
thx for the info, I'm just figuring out what new baits I can throw from shore instead of my usual Topwater, inline/spinnerbait, and occasional yum dinger setup. Ive been wanting to give some lipless/shallow cranks a try to give something new a shot.

Lipless crank depths
Was just wondering how deep lipless cranks usualy dive?. I fish mainly from shore and i wanted to know if you can shore fish with them and not get snagged constantly??

Lures for x-mas
I think I might go for: Lucky Craft Sammy (if the shop around here has them) Some Rat-l-traps (or versions of it) Spinnerbaits (booyah/strikeking) Shallow diving cranks (been looking at the shallow bomber cranks) Ill probably add some to the list and let her decide the limit .

Treeman... wtf
Here is some crazy story about some guy (a fisherman at that) who has "tree-like roots" growing from his hands and feet. There is a video in there as well, pretty incredible really. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml;jsessionid=MLYGYKBGOGQ2DQFIQMFSFGGAVCBQ0IV0?xml=/news/2007/11/12/wtree112.xml

Browning Midas rod/reel combo
The only thing that would concern me is the fact that Boron is quite a bit more brittle that graphite, which would have a higher tendency to break on solid hooksets. Although I have played with that stick at BPS and it is very light, and seems to be pretty darn sensitive. So if your not putting that rod under constent stress, you might just fall in love with it. The reel on the other hand I cant tell you about since Ive never used a browning reel. Also for that price range of that combo, I would look into the Shimano Compre series rods and a Daiwa Megaforce with the twitching bar. I think you might be happier with this combo
