Went to a local lake and did some dock fishing for pan fish with corn kernels, I never knew how fast you could pluck a gill out of the water with corn!!! Would've saved me a lot of money when I first started fishing and used nightcrawlers. In all I caught 40-50 pan fish in the span of 2 hours, Most of them looked different, but are they all the same species and just different gender or age? Or are they 3 different species as listed? I'm gonna guess... Bluegill! vvv Redbreast Sunfish? vvv A big mama bluegill? vvv Or are they all bluegill....the first one being a young male, the second a young female, and 3rd the older female bluegill?

I see schools of a couple hundred bait fish while fishing the banks...lately I've been able to locate the bass pretty easy due to them blowing up on this light colored shad...question is...which of these do I use and how do I use it?

Great advice like the others...but hopefully we can come back together and live a good ole life...things are going pretty good and I'd like for my girls to both be around to enjoy what I've accomplished because of them...well not because of them but they were the main drive that kept me going...I don't know...day by day...until then...I'll have to sleep on it

I'm going to guess....you put the tip of your thumb on the bar and use the pad of your thumb to control the spool without digging your thumb into the reel? But the question is...what is the (silver) bar above the spool attached between the sides of the reel going across? I just noticed it when I got this other reel (the middle one) and it didn't have it... Or is it to help against free spooling too fast and getting the line pushed back down to the spool during a cast? Sort of like a limit bar or something...I don't know...your guess is as good as mine

Honestly. I just got a 6 dollars raise with my promotion so child support doesn't bother me at all, it didn't before but the fact I got my promotion around this same time...it really doesn't bother me now. What doesn't bother me as well is my visitation. I love that I can see.my daughter again. What does bother me is the family aspect...I just wish we could've got along to make it work...I miss my girl so much....I tried to tell myself I wouldn't and didn't but fact is...I love her. It's just not the same anymore without the family together. Don't get me wrong, it's awesome having my daughter around now....just wish I had the whole pie....I love my girls.... Ahhhhh life....oh well...I'll be a better man out of it all right?...guess it means more fishing to keep my mind from wandering....tight lines guys Oh btw....caught this little guy the other day...not big...but as a bank fisher I was very pleased

@timsford Brother....I put myself on child support....which in Texas automatically gives me my visitation rights...unless I was a criminal or what not...I'm sorry for your case...very sorry I couldn't imagine that...but I could imagine this measly 400 a month to this lady to see my daughter!!!! No amount in the world could keep me from her!!! Like....if I was rocky...she'd be the road...if I were to take her spot as the road...she'd be my bricks of gold...

I have a 6 foot Ugly Stik that I bang bass on all day and chunk a weightless fluke a got dang mile...stop putting so much thought into it...go out there and catch the fish and let them tell you if it's not long enough. My bet is...you yank one in and the bass says d**n I wish his pole was longer...or d**n I wish his pole was weak...it's a fish...catch it...don't let it catch you Mind you...that 6 foot Ugly Stik is the only rod I have and I use it for every application good or not..better than nothing...just have fun But on the other hand I have only one rod and 8 Lews speedspools......what a hypocrite

Look for structure. They cling to it. If it's deep, fish deep. If it's shallow, fish shallow. The bass are there...just put it in their face. Might get a reaction strike..if they don't want it at first because they aren't hungry or its not dinner time...keep trying...they'll get ticked eventually and take a nab at it for territorial reasons. Are you on a boat or bank fishing?

The robo worms don't last long at all...even without a fish on the end...the salt content just on the bottom just makes the worm fall apart. Instead of the trick worm try the finesse worm but at the same time you can just nip off a chunk of the trick worm and have the same thing. Also zoom just came out with a new (first original remake) worm that looks pretty cool..haven't tried it yet though...

When you hold the fish...do you use 2 fingers? One in the mouth one on the jaw? When I first started fishing I quickly learned to place my thumb in the mouth and wrap all 4 fingers along its jaw bone...they might flip and flap but the jaw isn't going anywhere..pop out the hook..back in the water!!!
