Chronarch CI4+ vs Curado K
I've fished a Ci4+ and Curado I side by side, still liked the Curado more. I cannot speak for Curado K, however I think the K will be a better reel than the Chronarch Ci4+.

Minnesota Fishing Reports - 2017
Hey guys need some tips. When I fish a new body of water whether it's rivers, lakes, ponds, or streams I can spend the whole day and not catch a fish. Example last Saturday I fished in Anoka where the rum meets the Mississippi and got maybe one bite all day. Fished small keitechs, tubes, cranks, jerks, top water, bigger keitchs and so forth. Need some advice at how to break down a new body of water. Also I'm primarily a bank angler aside when people take me out on their boats which is 2-3 times a season.

Tatula original vs. Cronos vs. Tatula Elite 7'6" spinning models
The Tatula elite line uses the same blank as the Steez line of rods.

Tatula SV TW........opinions?
I have a Tatula SV and easiest reel to skip, casting is a breeze too. You won't be disappointed in this reel at all. I bought it off hype and have never regretted.

10 pound straight braid for wacky rig ?
I've gone back and forth with straight braid on finesse gear especially wacky. Right now my spinning rod is 10lb power pro slick 8 and I feel my casting distance has improved after removing my leader.

Where will the next Minnesota state record largemouth be caught?
My big bass have all been on jigs shallow or deep, only caught two or three bass on anything other than a jig. Me, going for a person best, a jig is what I'd throw. Black n blue or green pumpkin, maybe sexy shad or sexy with chartreuse for color.

Best bass reel on the market!
For price point I think the Tatula SVs are hard to bear for $200, move up to $300 and you have zillions, chronarchs and what have you. I don't think a person can go wrong. I will never spend over $300 on a reel or rod. My opinion is still the Tatula SV is hard to beat for the money.

Where will the next Minnesota state record largemouth be caught?
I think it's possible for there to be a 9lber here, but like many people have eluded to is the conditions have to be perfect in order for bass to grow this big. I have yet to pull out a bass bigger than 4 1/2 to 4 3/4lbs and on average pull smaller bass out. Honestly I hope it's some old timer who's been fishing all his life and just happens to hook up with this giant or a young buck who is just starting out. I think it would be cool to start chasing big bass in Minneasota to break the state record, however the hours would get long and there would be lots traveling from lake to lake. Conditions would have to be perfect too.

Senko/trick worm/fluke rod - M or MH, length?
I've got a new Tatula Elite AGS Ehrler rod which is MMH 1/8-1oz and it's been prefect for Senkos and the like. It's a 7fter which means a little more distance, but most of the time I'm making short casts and hitting next to cover. Great little rod.

Where will the next Minnesota state record largemouth be caught?
I know a guy at Joe's and he's repeatedly caught 7lbers in late fall conditions, the pictures are unreal for a fish that size in Minnesota. From what I've seen and heard, west to southwest is my guess.

Newer fisherman, needing help with shoreline in MN
Swim jigs, senkos, and frogs. Swim jigs have caught me the bigger bass when fishing, green pumpkin and blk n blue are your best bets. Don't be afraid to mix match colors and try new combinations. Weightless senkos are great, same with any weightless plastics. Wacky rig works great too. The key here is the action it makes on the way down while sinking. Gary's and Yum work well I've found. Frogs or any topwater bait is solid in the early mornings or at dusk. Whites, greens, and blacks. I like booyah, Spro, Lunkerhunt, and skum frogs. Whopper ploppers are a another great bait too: blk, bone, and something with a chartreuse/translucentbody works well. Don't bother with anything other than square bills for cranks, anything else will get hung up and cause frustrations. This is my second season bank fishing and the key is to continually adapt to what is happening around you.
