SUNGLASSES
I have a pair of polarized Ravens sunglass that I've been wearing. The difference is night and day. I don't think it matters as long as there polarized.

Snap Swivel
I used them for a little while to swap out baits real fast, the snap swivel can mess up the action of the bait.

Need help With Baitcasting
Just like everything else in life, practice practice practice. You'll get the hang of it. And once you do you'll wonder why it was so hard to figure it out.

Flipping & pitching
I really enjoyed it. I typically don't catch more than 3 or 4 fish, but I ended up getting 6 total with pitching. Was really enjoyable.

Science
I personally have always found it pretty easy to cast with my right hand being my dominant hand, and retrieving with my right hand as well after a quick switch. I've tried switching the reel on my spinning reel, casts are all over the place and hard to control. I do it just out of personal preference. I don't spend much time after the cast switching hands. The lure hits the water, I stop it with my right hand and switch hands really fast and start my retrieve. Unless that bass is hitting my lure within 2 seconds of it hitting the water I'm not missing any bites. I also keep the line running across my index finger, not sure if anyone else does this. But really adds sensitivity to feeling bites. I felt like I was missing some by just trying to feel it with just the rod. So by running the line over my first get I feel every bite every time.

Flipping & pitching
I started fishing a year ago or so, so I'm still trying to learn new techniques and perfect them the best I can. Flipping and pitching seem to be very successful ways of getting into cover with startling the fish. Has anyone come across a really good video online about this? I've seen some but felt maybe they where lacking some info. But what do I know. I've never done anything like this till today.

Chatterbait first impression
That is odd. It's usually the first thing I throw when hitting a new body of water. I can cover some ground and typically don't get hung up on anything

good windy day on Alligator
It's nice when they hit anything and everything you throw.

Braid vs Fluro
I just recently switched to braid, and I will say flat out... I will never go back. I love it so much. Just flows off the reel just right and setting hooks has been a breeze. Backlash isn't really a problem. I actually find it easier to pick out the backlash. /e I guess I should add that the water I fish is never clear. At best 2ft visibility but typically not even that. So I can get away with braid being more visible. If I would to fish table rock I would put a floro leader on due to the clear water. But I don't expect to fish that anytime soon. All the water around me is stained and dirty.

I finally did it!!
OH I do, I know this privet lake hold some hogs. And after a few more casts I sad eh that's enough for one day. I want a fight so I plan on going back when the fish get a little more active and I can catch em on somthing other than a Senko

Anybody Ever Get Caught Without Their License?
Awsome thanks, I looked around and didn't see anything for my state so I emailed the conservation office and asked. I guess we will see if the copy I have on my phone will work or if i need to make 42 copies because I'll end up losing the thing a few times over the season.

16.75 pound bass caught from shore in Florida
I'll admit idk if I could have let that go. I'd probably have to mount that baby. It'd be a shame because it could get bigger but man, that'd be hard to let that thing go.

Anybody Ever Get Caught Without Their License?
I've only been fishing for about a year so I've always had mine on me. But a quick question for everyone. I buy my license online. So I print out a copy. If I show the warden my license on my phone, since I get a copy on my phone and print it out would that suffice? Or would I still catch it because they want to see the paper copy.

My pb was like that. But the small bass I've been getting have put up a fight, the big one was like just dragging it in. Wasn't very exciting.

16.75 pound bass caught from shore in Florida
Only problem now is, he will NEVER beat his new pb But man, that had to one hell of a fight dragging that monster to the shore. Probably thought he was pulling in a log.

I finally did it!!
I was waiting for this day for a while now. Never caught anything over 2 lbs. And I knew this lake was full of hogs. Wish she had more fight in her but maybe next time I hook one I'll have a fighter on my hands.

I finally did it!!

Let's not forget the T-Rig Worm
The worm is my go to when j want to catch just anything. I'll throw everything else I have to see if I can get a hit, but when I come up with nothing but slack line I throw on a good ol fashioned t rigged Senko. Actually got my pb today on one.

bank fishing-what to look for?
Checking for structure. Any kind of lay downs you can see like a stump or downed tree. Rock beds are also a good thing to look for.

Somehow managed to snag this. Hooked him in the head, not sure if he was striking my kvd or I just happened to throw it right in him.
