  1. Shad Shape worm in Natural Shad color 306 Allen
  2. Zoom grass craws, BB Cricket, and Berkeley Mud Critters (Discontinued) and what I use most but don't do a lot of heavy punching. BTW if anyone has any Mud Critters in GP or Black they want to sell let me know. Allen
  3. Yes, even though I make 95% of my spinnerbaits I still use these. Days when they are hitting any spinnerbait I use these and same my good baits. I just wire or zip tie down the skirt and call it a day. Allen
  4. I have some of his baits as well. Allen
  5. LC Pointer 65sp or SR Team Daiwa 60sp Allen
  6. #2 is a custom by I think his name is Marty Burns? He was a member here. #3 looks like a Thundershad #4 is a Zoom bait of some sort Allen
  7. Yes as the floral wire will rust but it still works. Go to AC Moore or Micheal's and get some 22 guage wire. I use the pliers in the link below to tie mine. https://www.harborfreight.com/6-inch-safety-wire-twisting-pliers-45340.html Allen
  8. 1/2oz jig in solid black or green pumkin works for me. Allen
  9. Dark gray in the sunlight and amber for low light conditions. Get some SK S11 ones for like $15 each and you are set. Allen
  10. I can say that Owner heads have a lot of tin or bizmith in them which is why they stay shiny. Allen
  11. Looks like a lot of lost fish to me. Allen
  12. That looks hard to beat! I use a swim jig that I hand paint with a Keitech 3.8 fat impact in ProStaff special. Allen
  13. I have some of those hiding in my basement. Allen
  14. Hands down if I could only use one crankbait to fish the river it would be a Bandit in craw or silver minnow. Allen
  15. This is how you determine what weight for neutral buoyancy. Seal the bait so that it is waterproof. Get a postal scale and weigh the components. Next fill a cup of water that's the same temperature you want to fish. Put the cup of water on the scale and submerge the bait completely. The difference is the amount of weight it will take to achieve neutral buoyancy. Subtract the weight of the components and what you expect from the paint and clear coat. Afterwards you have your belly weight to achieve neutral buoyancy. Allen Archimedes principle. Allen
  16. Didn't know living rubber had different grades? What ever has 40 to 50 strands should be what most are using. Personally I only make about 20 jigs a year using this stuff because it is a PITA to use. Allen
  17. Try a SK 5xd in Gizzard shad if the water is deep and clear. Allen
  18. Like Smalljaw has mentioned there are many different ways to fish a spinnerbait. Specific models work better in certain situations than others. Personally I like the hiddenweight heads for fishing the river but not because I burn them. I build all my baits on a .032 or .032 1/4oz (Think it is called R1) wire frame. Along with smaller blades this allows me to have a heavier bait with a smaller profile. Now I can fish deeper in clear water or the bait doesn't roll in current. Allen
  19. Black bear hair jig is the best overall winter bait for me. Allen
  20. I have one of those Deep WeeR baits in Crappie you can have. It isn't in the best shape but definitely fishable. Allen
  21. Plan on in the future but not right now. I maybe able to make some to trade. Allen
  22. I roll my own. Allen
  23. I had a 2002 17' Tracker and the max rating was 75hp. Putting on something bigger is not recommended as it voids insurance, etc. I ran a 75 Merc EFI and could hit 45mph which is decent. Having ridden in other Trackers I would not go below 50hp. Allen
  24. Strike King S11 are very nice for the money. Bought 3 pairs somewhere on the interwebs for $49. Allen
  25. Not sure where in Maryland you live but if you want some place to throw big lures try Piney Run Reservoir. There are a ton of 5+ bass in there along with stripers. Allen
