  1. I have used a skirt collar put on after the trailer to keep it in place. Allen
  2. Wire keepers can be added to most DoIt molds. Allen

The weedless grass jig mold that smalljaw suggested is what I have been using for swim jigs. Allen
  4. You should be able to recreate it with skirt material from fishingskirts.com or skirts plus. Between those two the make like 90 percent of the skirt colors. Allen
  5. Roll my own. Allen
  6. Have you tried using a jig that is the same color as your favorite soft plastics? Allen
  7. 3/16oz is what I use the most with creature baits. Allen
  8. Jointed Rapala minnow like a J9 should work. Allen
  9. Check Alibaba.com and you will find all you want. Allen
  10. Isn't just recreational boats either other fishermen are just as bad. Bass fishermen that cut you off because they are ina tournament. Crappie boats that gdt 2' from you because it's their brush pile. Favorite has to be the trout fishermen who do not know what a boat ramp is for? Show up to launch and they don't want to move the 6 rods and lawn chairs since they were there first. Allen
  11. Let me know if you want to trade any? I would like to try and make some resin jigheads with a tungsten keel. Allen
  12. What size and shape is the tungsten you are working with? Allen
  13. In Charlotte, NC for a couple of days and wanted to know if there are any must visit tackle shops. Allen
  14. I started because I couldn't find what I wanted and was tired of taking apart brand new spinnerbaits to rebuild them. Allen
  15. I have a simple plan to cull tackle, for every bait I buy I get rid of 5 like baits. Honestly all I need for at least 3 years is line and bullet weights. Allen
  16. I finally sent them after driving around for weeks with them in my back seat. Now if I can just find the time to go fishing. Allen
  17. I tried this as well and my 1/4oz shakeyhead cavity produced a nice 1/16oz head. The mixture is just too thick to pour to achieve a greater density. Now I was able to mix GP soft plastic colorant which turned them the color of Keitech heads. From what the company said where I bought the powder most tungsten is mined in China. That along with their lack of regulation is why China has market share. Allen
  18. They are more sensitive so until you get used to them there will be a lot of false hook sets. Honestly for most everyday fishing scenarios I cannot justify using tungsten. Cost based on the amount of lures I lose I just can't see the benefit. Allen
  19. Almost never but I can see it working. Allen
  20. Even though I like the SK 1.5 nothing compares to the RC 1.5 IMO. Having bought a good lure retriever I lose less than one hardbait a year. I will tell you that it is by far my number 1 crankbait and if I could only take one it would be a RC 1.5 in Copper Perch. Allen
  21. First post is to drag up something from 6 years ago? The OP has since graduated college and married. Allen
  22. When are they coming out with the 16.8? Looking to catch the big ones. Allen
  23. They have always been the best for bulk order's of hooks. Allen

Haven't heard anyone mention the Stone jig in a long time. I cut my teeth using it and the FLW ones from Wal-Mart 15 years ago. Allen
