How can you have just one favorite pointer? :-? Since I do a lot of SM fishing I use smaller baits than some of you. My list: Pointer 78sp- Ghost minnow, Pearl Ayu, Baitfish Silver Slender pointer 97mr- Ghost Minnow, Pearl Ayu, Kinkoro ayu Pointer 65sp- Ghost minnow, Baitfish Silver As you can see I only use a few colors of jerkbaits, I posted an article in on of these forums on the subject. Fall as a swimming jig trailer comes to mind? Since I have never seen a white crayfish or heard of one I would fish them like some sort of baitfish. Allen

I have made bulkier skirts by using 3 skirt tabs? If you are looking for the bulkiest skirt check out micromunch as EW's skirts are 60 strand instead of the normal 40. They are Gama EWG hooks that have a bullet head poured on them? The 1/0 EWG hooks are a thin finesse hook but the 2/0 and 4/0 are a lot thicker. Allen

They do not work at all send them to me for proper disposal These catch more 18"+ SM for me than any other bait. I fish them on a Jobee style jighead that has a 4/0 EWG hook. Green pumkin (297 for you Yamamoto geeks) is what I use 80% of the time? The only other color I will use is pumkinseed with green and black flake (196 or 296 I forget which). In the summer and fall this bait is a great alternative to a J-N-P. Allen

This is what I have been working on myself. Instead of spending time switching crankbait colors I concentrate on finding fish! Right now I only carry 4 or 5 colors of crankbaits but I make sure I can cover all depths from 6" to 20'. Allen
