  1. One of the best presentations in and around grass here. Honestly for riversmallies this is my go to panic bait during the summer months. I have been saved more than once by this in a summer tournament. Allen
  2. Best deal I found today and this is why I like the fishing flea markets. Allen
  3. River SM I have never found a crankbait better than the Bandit. Craw is the best color but shad works very well in size 100 and 200. RC 1.5, Manns Baby 1-, Rebel Wee/Deep Wee R, and Rapala DT6 are the other baits in my top 5 that are easily found. Allen
  4. What size hook would you want and can you paint the heads yourself? Allen
  5. Tip Up Jig w/Screw-Loc - Sz: 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16 - Hk: 604 - Collar: None (do-itmolds.com) Anyone have this mold that I can borrow? Or just make me some heads in the 3 smallest sizes with the wires I send? I have like 50 different hand pour molds I can let someone else borrow in exchange. Allen
  6. Wife said I should be flattered and told all her friends. Allen
  7. Devcon 2 Ton 30-minute epoxy would be best to start with. You can thin it and give yourself more time by mixing a little rubbing alcohol in with it. There are other clearcoats out there but start with this until you get some experience. Allen
  8. It will last longer than most store bought baits. Allen
  9. Not true! I had another guy ask me out on a date. Now I get my wife or daughter to buy it for me. Allen
  10. I will keep an eye out for them at Ollies. I do have a bunch of the weights that are used on these. Allen
  11. See if you can find some Daiichi Death Traps in size 8. I forget where I bought my last set of hooks for the Pointer 65sc. Allen
  12. Pointer 65sp in Ghost Minnow or Baitfish Silver and I wear them out. I know everyone has there favorites but I have probably caught 2k fish on these 2 baits in the past 10 years. Allen
  13. Only thing I do different is in lakes that have both I can use bigger baits. All the clear water around here natural colors work best for both SM and LM. Lucky Craft Ghost Minnow is the best color overall and I will throw the 100sp in lakes with LM instead of the 78sp. Allen
  14. Try the Jackal color cola. I am a GP guy day in and out but for these cola has been the best color for like 10 years. Luckily I found someone selling off a bunch of them at $2 a pack so I am set for a decade or so. Allen
  15. Gluing them on Loctite Gel. Eyes already in place coat over them with Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails fingernail polish. You will lose the lure before the eyes come off. Allen
  16. Personally I don't think much about what braided line costs because it lasts for years. Using 50lb Power Pro on my frog rod that was spooled in 2017. Allen
  17. Guess I am the only person who thinks that the whopper plopper sucks? I had high hopes for it but a single blade of grass stops the tail from spinning. Tiny torpedo I can be dragging a 4' limb on the hook and the blade still spins. Allen
  18. I use a lot of these when the water gets clear. Pictured is a 1/16 1 hook and a 1/8 2 hook that I make. Different sizes of hooks can be used but these are the ones I use the most. If you can't find any I can just send you some of these. Allen
  19. Can't post them here for copyright reasons. Allen
  20. Ball head will work. Allen
  21. I could probably get everything in the boat if I tried? It would definitely sink though. Allen
  22. I recommend watching some of the lure painting videos on YouTube. Most will tell you exactly what colors they are using. This is how I found out about sepia. Allen
  23. That term is no longer used as it is offensive, they are called Appalachian American's. Allen
  24. Airbrush paints I use the most right now: White Black Brown Orange Crimson red Pearl Translucent gray Detail moss green Detail sepia Now I have a lot of different colors but I use the ones above the most. Allen
