Favorite spinnerbait weight and color
I really need to figure out what color it is so I can order some more skirt tabs. Its one of the lurepartsonline Keitech colored tabs I just don't know which one because there are like 5 ones that are similar. Allen Going to call this one Kent's love. Allen

Favorite spinnerbait weight and color
I have been making and fishing this one for at least 10 years. It's one of my top 5 spinnerbaits overall. Allen

Heddon or Cotton Cordell are my 2 guesses. I will defer to the experts on older baits. Allen

Favorite spinnerbait weight and color
So here's my version of chartreuse/white with a twist. In both the paint and skirt is blue iridescent. Fishing a lot of clear water I like natural colors and am a big fan of the iridescents that pop in sunlight. The other bait is one that I have been using all year with great success. What I way trying for was the most natural color for a baitfish. Figured I would try to make a more natural shad color than War Eagles Mouse. The skirt tabs are one of the exclusive colors that are supposed to match Keitech baits. I just need to figure out which one this is as I took all the tabs out of the original packaging. Allen

Using lures the way they were not intended
Had a new guy in the club as a coangler one day create a new rig. I was catching fish on a Sammy and he was throwing a split shot rig. He decided to switch to a SK walking bait but did not remove any of the split shot weights. Now we are fishing really clear water so I can see everything. I notice his lure is not on top of the water and start to tell him to take off the sinkers. Before I could finish my sentence about a 4lb SM comes up and crashes his bait. He ended up catching 3 more walking a topwater bait about 18" under the surface. That first SM was lunker for the day and a lb heavier than anything I caught. Allen

Favorite spinnerbait weight and color
My buddy who helps me make baits sometimes has been on me about making a Chart/white bait. I semi-agreed and started making one I call classic twist. Its Chart/white but with blue iridescent so it is not a common color. This weekend I am going to see what all baits I have made for sale at the winter shows. Tonight I clear coated 74 spinnerbait heads that should be dry in about 3 days. Looks like I need to make more Chart/white and solid white baits going forward. Allen

Favorite spinnerbait weight and color
I hate making chartreuse/white spinnerbaits as that's what every company makes. If a fish has seen a spinnerbait its chartreuse/white. Everywhere I fish are pressured waters so I am trying to make something that works in this environment. Let me get some pictures this weekend to show what I am working on. Allen

Favorite spinnerbait weight and color
This is a marketing question as to what is your favorite spinnerbait colors and weight. I am making some for the upcoming shows and want to know what everyone likes? Now I have a few that work great for me but unless I can get them into the hands of anglers they will do no good. Thanks everyone in advance for their opinion as it will help. Allen

Anyone have any data that would be useful for a fishing lure retriever?
Retractable dog leash with a heavy weight and chains to get the lure back. Allen

Compact spinnerbait mold
Just get a 1/2oz DoIt head that you like and cut a pre-made wire form to the length you need. Check out the Ultra spinnerbait head to see if it meets your needs. Allen

Yo Zuri Rattlin Vibe One Knocker
My favorite lipless is a Kinami rattle shad but after that I like the SK one knocker. Allen

New shakey head
Going to try and order some of the other VMC hooks for that purpose. Allen

New shakey head
Made this using a new 2/0VMC hook that just came out recently. Its a 90 degree hook and doesn't fit any Doit mold I have found without modification. Wish they made it in a 60 degree but this will work. I have been using the Owner heads like these for a couple of years with success. Owners are getting harder to find and more expensive. Allen

Buzz Bait Blade Colors Revisited
Silver blade white skirt most of the time except night then its black on black. Honestly I have used gold and painted blades in the past and it didn't seem to make a difference. White skirt with a Deliverance squeel is what matters most IMO. Allen

Minimalistic Bass Fisherman
Personally I am a minimalist when it comes to tackle. Allen

Spinner bait Indiana blades
War Eagle and Terminator made those more popular. Try finding a store bait with double indiana blades once. Allen
-
Spinnerbait Deep Dive
Deeper water like that I use a single Indiana on a 1/2 or 3/4oz bait. About 15 FOW is the max for 1/2oz normally but it just depends on the day. Allen

Spinner bait Indiana blades
They are middle ground between a willow and colorado blade. What I have found is in pressured water they do well because nobody else is throwing them. Allen

Need help with a skirt
https://www.lurepartsonline.com/Baitfish-Skirt-Material?quantity=2&custcol18=260 Natural pumkin baitfish 187 https://www.lurepartsonline.com/Baitfish-Skirt-Material?quantity=2&custcol18=204 Pumkin green flake baitfish 089 Those are my guess without having the bait in hand. I would go with Catt's suggestion and contact the company. Allen

Smoke color worms?
Yamamoto natural shad which is smoke with a little gold and black flake is my best clear water color. This is been my #1 spinnerbait color all year. Allen

changing casting arm.
I taught myself to cast with my left hand just for something to do. Sad thing is I can cast a baitcaster better with my nondominate hand than I can a spinning rod with my dominant hand. Allen

Tube hook size 2.5 inch
Biggest I use for those small tubes is 2/0. Just made a bunch for a guy using size 1 Gamakatsu. Allen

Lures that lost popularity?
Chatterbait is not new, there's a blade called the Eaker shaker from the 80s. Allen
