  1. Get a calculator ready! YOUR AGE BY EATING OUT Don't tell me your age; you probably would tell a falsehood anyway-but your waiter may know! YOUR AGE BY DINER & RESTAURANT MATH This is pretty neat DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST! It takes less than a minute. Work this out as you read . Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out! This is not one of those waste of time things, it's fun. 1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to go out to eat. (more than once but less than 10) 2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold) 3. Add 5 4. Multiply it by 50 5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1758... If you haven't, add 1757. 6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born. You should have a three digit number The first digit of this was your original number. (I.e., How many times you want to go out to restaurants in a week.) The next two numbers are YOUR AGE ! ------ (Oh YES, it is!) THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2008) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO SPREAD IT AROUND WHILE IT LASTS
  2. Oh yeah? Well I have a Sealine ocean reel with 30 bearings. I spool it with 2 lb test and can cast from San Francisco Bay to Japan when the wind is just right.
  3. Here is the other half of the page with all the specs for those that want to try. Good luck.
  4. Sorry, but the whole catalog is in Japanese.
  5. So I had an opportunity to grab one of the last Megabass Mephisto rods available for the US market. Seems the rod is being discontinued. The rod came in Friday, and let me tell you, it changes the way I look at rods. I thought the Steez rods were tops, but now I think otherwise. This thing is on another level. I paired the rod with my equally exotic reel, the JDM Daiwa Zillion HLC. The two were made for each other, right down to the identical purple trim. I can't remember being this excited about a fishing rod since I don't know when.
  6. Reading the other post on the Curado, I thought you Shimano dudes would appreciate this. Took a picture of the 2008 JDM catalog's new Curado. Let the drooling begin.
  7. Real estate is one of the best long term investments you can make, bar none. History will prove that regardless of what you see in todays short term market, (value loss) you will make a solid return over time with your home. Don't get me started on the current real estate debaucle and what it's done to values...
  8. Sol, Pixy, Zillion HLC and Core.
  9. What a legacy. RIP.
  10. Hmm, might be tough to cast two rods at the same time?
  11. When iw as in grammar school, my dad's best friend got he and I into fishing. To this day, when dad and I go, he usually comes with us. On our first trip to Brazil, I told my dad it wouldnt be right if Juan didn't come with us, so I paid for his entire trip to come join us. I think that will become the best fishing trip we ever had.
