Thanks Corey. The rod was $195 I believe, i bought the reel on Ebay for $165 (smoking deal!) The carbon arm and grips were ~$130 delivered. I also put 4 bearings in the paddles, I wanna say they were like $6 each.

I really like this reel. I think for what you get, it's underpriced. Can't wait to give this a shot in a few weeks. Paired with a Dobyns Mike Long Swimbait rod, it matches perfectly. Sorry the pics arent so great. before After

I've scored so many deals on Ebay that I cant remember them all. Best was probably a Steez 7'1" rod, brand new, for $315 shipped. That rod retails for $500.

Mexican pop/soft rock, edgy. Johnny Cash. nuff said. Phil Collins. Great voice Sting. Another great voice Sade. need I say more? There's lots more, but for now that is all I can think of.

So THREE YEARS ago I bought this rod, two of them actually, Muskie rods that I had intended to use in Brazil. One of the rods never got used, It has been sitting in my office at home in the corner. I called the Tackel Box, where I bought it, and they inturn called Gloomis to see if I could exchange it for another Glooms rod - and they said yes! The rod is seriously like 3 years old! Full credit! I'm getting their Senko rod, the 7'5" GLX rod that The Natural raves about. Their rods may be pricey, but their customer service is without parallel!
