So is there a particular marine battery any of you swear by? I'm wondering if I should leave the stock batteries in the Ranger or change them to a different model.

Natural, Which 4 Steez rods do you have? I have the 6'7" model and am looking at getting a couple more.

Those are really nice. I am debating which to buy as well, Although the Ranger vests are very nice too.

I checked around for insurance with my new boat. State Farm was the priciest at $850 and had a $1,000 deductible. Then there was a Farmers which quoted me $765 and same deductible. Then I called 1800BASSBOAT. They quoted me $670, included a $250 deductible and full replacement of the boat, $5,000 towards gear and full replacement on electronics and trolling motor. I didn't bother calling Progressive but perhaps i should give them a shot too? By the way this is for my 2007 Ranger Z22 with 300 Optimax.

WW2Farmer's post sums it up nicely. Take a look at your budget and choose accordingly. My new personanl favorite is the Steez baitcasting reel. Amazing that a $450 reel can be so popular - they are often sold out and on backorder! Overall I really like my Shimano Chronarch's as well. Great reels for a much better price. Daiwa TDX's are fantastic as well, they cast better than the Shimano's and have a nice small profile that fits well in my hand.

She's the best. I'm lucky to have her. And no gentlemen, not because she buys me reels. I have a Steez 6'7" and I am looking a t buying two more to match the other 2 reels. It just doesnt seem right to not match Steez rods with these silly-light baitcasters.

Three Steez baitcasters. My girlfriend bought me some reels. 3 Steez reels, a Viento and a Zillion. I swear if I was into jewelry I'd put a chain on this reel and put it around my neck. They are just beautiful.

Hey guys, I'm thinking about buying a place in or around Celina. It's close to many striper fishing hot spots and I was wondering what you could tell me about the area. What is the economy like? Are there large citys close by? what is the weather year round? Crime levels? nice place to possibly retire later? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I have been a diehard Shimano guy most of my life. I have to say that my recent Daiwa purchases have really swayed me to them. The reels feel much more precise, cast farther it seems and are less susceptable to backlashing. The Zillion reels are awesome. The Steez baitcasters are with out a doubt the best exotic reels out there.
