Bridges. I hate driving on high bridges over water. The Oakland bridge and the bridge on 680 that takes you to Napa are the worst. When the traffic is stop and go, i can feel my hands start to sweat....

The other board that I belong to and am quite active on is www.6speedonline.com I think that if you had different levels of "supporters" on the board that it would work really well. 6Speed, as a refereance, has three levels. Silver supporter: $25 one time fee. Gold supporter: $50 one time fee. Platinum supporter: $100 one time fee. The level of your support is listed next to your avatar, for other members to see. If this site adopted a similar type of system, I think it would help with maitenance costs and would make this place run smoother over all. Just a suggestion, but I am sure that plenty of the members here would be willing to take part, me included.

I spoke to Richard Yesterday. I'm going to try and locate a 26C HD today and have it overnighted to C&C. If not I can either pick up the boat as is or wait til they get the unit in. If I do bring one in I have to get a credit from Ranger since the cost of the unit has already been factored in to the final price. Is it like when you get a car that the factory price is much less than if I was to buy it on my own?

Daiwa has nice stuff as well. I picked up one of their Columbia Bonehead shirts, complete with logos and what not. Cool shorts and T's also.

When i went to Brazil I too took my Bazooka and Shimano reel case. I carried on the reels, 12 Chronarchs, Daiwa's and a couple Calais' were NOT going to be checked. The rod case was a hassle. Security checked toe rods, didnt close it correctly and bent some of my guides back. > Atleast nothing was broken by them.

Hey guys, I have heard mixed stories of hitch height, wanted your opinions on the subject. Some individuals tell me that it should be 18 inches to the top of the ball, others say 15 inches fully compressed, what do you guys think?

The freshwater barracuda and dogfish were both caught on a Zara Spook. The pirhana was caught on a silver/blue Rattletrap. The dogfish (2nd fish) did look like something out of Jurrasic Park. I wish I would have taken a picture of it's full body - it had a real prehistoric look to it.

Stripers in reservoirs. One of my favorites Trolling broken back Rapala's along the rock wall would be a good place to start. Also keep your eyes open for diving birds - a sure sign that a school of baitfish has been corraled by stripers. Approach the mellee and stop short, make long casts and you should be in business. this type of situation calls for shad colored rattlertraps or hairraisers, which are my personal favorite. I have found that casting hair raisers in this situation and allowing the lure to drp for a couple seconds before beginning the retrieve works best for bigger fish, since they tend to be a little lazier and hang out below picking off the injured baitfish that float down. You hit the nail on the head. I can't tell you how gratifying it is to down shift, blip the throttle, match the revs, and know that I did it myself and didn't have the tranny "computer" do it. Awsome stuff.
