  1. Hi all! I just got back from my vacation. It started by leaving Kansas City in an Ice storm and just barely got off the ground :-[. Landed in Orlando 4 hours later in sunshine and 75 degrees. That was pretty consistant throughout the whole week I was there. Spent Monday on a 65' party boat out of Cape Canaveral 35 miles out on the Ocean deep sea fishin caught a few small grouper an red snappers and tuesday hooked up with George Welcome on the Stick Marsh. It was the best day of the week light winds 80 Degrees light fog with smooth water in the morning perfect scenario. Lots of fishin and a little catchin but I truly enjoyed a great time on the water. George was reffered from this board and I highly recommend him if you go down there. He knows the place real well. I considered trying to rent a boat and go it myself but after the fact I could see myself running along out there and getting high centered on on of those numerous stumps that are virtually invisible untill you are on top of them. Then having to get out to remove myself from that stump with all those Gators out there would not have been fun. Left Orlando again 75 degrees and sunny only to return to having to shovel 3 inches of snow over the top of 1/2 inch of ice off the driveway to get in my garage. :( Those Florida boys are so LUCKY!!!

  3. Here it is! It's 1/16/07 It's a cool crisp morning on the Stick Marsh with the sun just poppin up on the horizon. George Welcome idles into what the locals call " The HOLE". There is barely a ripple as the steam from the 74 degree water rises up to greet us. I tie on my new SNAKE ( I hope it gets here in time) and toss it into the abyss. As i slowly titch it across the matted grass out of the fog I here KABOOOSHHH. 11 lbs 7 ozs Pics to follow

If you allow this, the webpage can access the Clipboard and read information that you've cut or copied recently. You will then need to press or click Don't Allow or Allow button to get pass the popup message. This security feature can be disabled. To disable the pop up warning message about possible harmful or unauthorized Clipboard access, follow the steps below: Go to Tools -> Internet Options. Go to Security tab. Select Internet zone, then click on Custom level button. Scroll down to Scripting section (at the bottom few). Under Allow Programmatic clipboard access option, check or select (tick) Enable. Default action for this option is a Prompt, which cause the pop-up message whenever there is any attempt to access the Clipboard. Click Ok twice to exit from Internet Options. Changing the preference to Enable for Allow Programmatic clipboard access option can increase security risk. You can set it to Disable to disallow all website's access to Clipboard's resident data. However, the better and more secure alternative is to edit the Allow Programmatic clipboard access setting for Trusted sites zone (steps same as above, only that you select Trusted sites in step 3 instead of Internet), and add the websites that you trusted and selected into Trusted sites zone. Hope that helps! Ummmmmmmmmmmm................Would you mind repeating that please THATS FUNNY
  10. I have not fished tubes very much and when I have it has been either weightless or bullet style. With the poured internal weights shown on this post are they inserted from the rear with the eye punched through or from the front with the weight punched through.
  11. Great answer Fluke! Working on points for the New Year? CHEESEBURGERS The greasier the better! Happy New Year All!

  16. When teaching my wife to fish we used Zebco 33 with soft plastics ie. senkos beavers t-rigged and I spent alot less time removing snagged lures. Plus she caught fish and was very excited. So I would recommend plastics for learning. My 2 cents PS: Don't forget the band aids!!
  17. E-MAIL comin'at YA!
  18. My thoughts are that they would be good for transport. 1 have only fished in one tournament and pre-rigged five rods the night before. I used three of the pouch style that I had handy but wished I had something different afterwards.
  19. I am definately a 5) Sportsman Stage. I enjoy just getting out and fishing. But it is exclusive to bass fishing. I have friends whom fish for crappie and catfish but I would much rather just pitch a shoreline than anything else. 90% of the time I get skunked but thats fine with me because at least I am out there rather than the alternative
  20. Congrats Catt !!!!
  21. I like the Lure tamer concept! I also have (small)kids in the boat regularly and am always worried about that. have used the pouches in this situation . They do a good job for that but like many of you have stated are cumbersome and a nuisence when installing or removing.
  22. Interested to see if anyone uses lure protectors on a regular basis. Why or Why not? When or When not? your thoughts would be appreciated!
