  1. George Perry's World Record will be overtaken by some other guy trying to feed his family during a Economic Depression- Caught: June 2, 1932 (During Last Great Depression) Weight: 22 pounds, 4 ounces Some guy in 2009 23 pounds even!?!?!?!!

  10. A local pro swears by those........I would imagine it would be great on a buzzbait. I know a local pro who likes them too... :-? They are great on a buzzbait and also on a 1/4oz dart head- medium retrieve fish it anytime you would a spinnerbait its dynamite
  11. put a yamamoto 4" saltwater series swimbait on it- the white one... shhhhh.... :-X
  12. 15 shakey head 1 shakey head 2 drop shot 1 drop shot 2 crank 1 shallow crank 2 medium crank 3 deep spinnerbait light spinnerbait heavy Heavy C-Rig Light C-Rig Top Water Jig 1 Jig 2 skip rig- tube on a jighead various light baits ect- I usually carry 7 or 8 on the deck sometimes more prefishing
  13. Last year a non-boater that drew me had baitcasting only with heavy weights and line, I had a few spots that the fish only wanted a super light shakey head worm- put it this way he was skrewed- after not getting bit half the day he put on the same bait as I did and could only cast 15ft if it was not a rat nest. Always have a spinning rod with you- I have many many set-ups baitcasting and spinning, if I were only allowed to bring one rod it would indeed be a spinning outfit. I realize not everyone fishes tournaments- the example covers bass fishing in general.
  14. Bass Tackle Depot has been very good to me- They carry large quantities on the gear they have. It's nice living on the "left coast"
  15. I had a good loook at the pic, that is a very nice fish- definately over 4, the fish is thick from head to tail
  16. R.I. sweet beaver 3.5
  17. If it were me personally- I'd go with Ghost minnow and swap out for red hooks- that combo on any LC bait has been dynamite- any water clarity
  18. some work better than others on a given day but Green Pumpkin is always tied on
  19. that is sad- it seems to snowball for some people. A friend of mine's sister became pregnant then found out she had luekemia because of that she had to terminate the pregnancy then 4 months later she passed- life is not fair
  20. I've seen a 12" bass with a 6" perch in its mouth not bass on bass though.
  21. They say it's all optimimism over a potential bail-out plan. Why don't they keep the optimism and ditch the plan...
  22. OU vs. Alabama for #1 Boise State BCS crasher
  23. I think the Raiders are a lot better than the public perception. They will not have the worst record in the NFL once the year is over- that gets divied up between the brownies and bungles.
  24. keep tension on the fish but make sure your drag is not too tight-
