Hey guys, I am trying to get a general idea of what most are using on there beavers, I am using 1/4 oz on the regular sweet beaver and 3/8 on the Double wide, for pitching to cover, what is everyone else using weight wise? Thanks

I am a huge Bagley fan, and I have had some similar issues with them. I have heard that some people have used clear nail polish over the finish to prevent chipping. I have not tried it, but will be soon.

i bought some of JJ's Magic and that stuff works well, only a couple of things to be concerned with. 1. Only let your plastic sit in the stuff for a good 1-2 seconds ( one onethousand two onethousand) any ore and the plastic actually will break down some and split. I figured I will leave it in for up to five, not a good idea. 2. That stuff stinks to high heaven, be careful and don't get it on your carpet.

I have two Revo SX's and love them both and a promax and am impressed with it, I was just wondering about the Energy PT's, but since no one gave them a real good response, I think that I will just pick up a couple of Revo S's for two more setup's. Hey gus I am about to get a couple of new reels and I am a die hard Abu fan, but I can get an Energy PT for around 80-100 after rebate, are they any good? Not replacing any of my Abu's, just need another setup. any input helps. Thanks

Hey guys, Just picked up a Jackall Giron in the bluegill color, heading to Guntersville tomorrow and going to through it as well as alot of other stuff. Anyone used it or heard of any reviews on it? I will let yall know if I catch anything with it. has anybody used it with success?

OK guys, Maybe I am the only one here who has not caught a fish on these, or maybe I am just fishing them wrong. Please post up any tips, places and colors that yall like to fish these, whether they be Senkos, ***, Dingers, whatever. I need help. I am a crankbait nut and if it was up to me that is all I would throw. But I want to catch some fish using these and maybe I am not throwing them in the right areas, please help? Thanks

I have a couple of the Mann's Wakers and I love them, they are fairly cheap and work pretty good.

i use it or both it is very good. However with the heating issues of fluoro I start the knot, then stick the whole lure underwater while I cinch it down (yes I am a knot nerd). I even do this in the dead of winter, it sucks but I have a lot less breakage issues than my partner, who doesn't.

Hey guys, I am thinking about getting an new Cumara for a jig and trig rod. I have a flipping stick that I use for flipping and pitching, but at 7'8" it is a little big for casting jigs and trigs, what do yall think of the new Cumaras?

Probably about right I normally refer to my CXX as "tow rope" that stuff is pretty strong.

I second micro on the Abu Cardinal 800 series. Man I love mine. Can't beat an Abu.

I love CXX and have some 8# and was thinking about putting it on my crankin reel, just was a little worried about using 8lb. But I know that 8lb CXX is not like 8lb anyhting else.

I lived in Tampa for a while a saw how many gators have to be removed and man yall should get paid by the tax payers. They are the same folks who want to build developments in swamps and then whine when there little fluffy dog gets eaten when they let it out. You guys do a job that only few would and I never realized that the government doesn't pay yall. Ok, enough of the rant, I was going to say the Van Stall also, but if price is an issue like others said a big Okuma or Penn. Personally I am a huge Abu Garcia fan and just got one of their new 800 series and they rock, but not sure if they make one big enough for you.

Just got off the phone with them, and got them to email me the schematics for the promax and I got the number for the spool, so looks like I will be ordering one soon. And keep up the Revo Bling. I want some!!!

Anyone know where I can get a spare spool for a Abu pro Max? I want one for Fluoro and one for Braid for my Flipping setup.

I have several Revos and just recently got a Promax and love it. That thing is great so far, time will tell if it holds up to the Abu name (which takes about five years of use to be a real Abu)

I saw that episode and understand what he is saying, however he fishes more than most of us put together and can do things with a rod that most of us will never be able to do. I agree with trying to have all the same, but when you are the "Greatest Fisherman" as voted by your colleagues you can fish finesse baits on heavy action rods and other stuff. I love Clunn and hope to one day be a tenth of the fisherman that he is, but I will have to hold on to my different rods until I can get in his "zone".

Are they nicer than the Records and does anyone know where you can get on online?
