  1. Set out some cutbait for cats, figured I would cast a swimbait for bass while waiting for a bite. That’s what I get for thinking, catfish hit swimbait
  2. I had 3 eggs and some ducks for dinner last night

Only Michelin, they advertise 90k tires. I got to 70k on a work truck with no rotation at all
  4. If you like to get the skin peeled off your face, east TN is where you should be shopping. Norris craft, Allison, and bullet are all made somewhere close by No clue exactly why this is the case, revenuers and G men don’t have many boats……..
  5. What a difference a state makes, I’m trying to find some colder water but there isn’t any yet
  6. The dam is calling and you must go
  7. Ain’t tomorrow Friday? Might catch a white bass on the work route
  8. Got one house near water and one house on it. Both need work 😂
  9. I wish I could hire Bob as a property manager for bout 6 months. I think he could get about 10 years of work done in that time frame
  10. That’s what I was thinking, and you aren’t allowed to kill those

Orange ninjas and hitch hikers. Guerrilla warfare
  12. We have to release them as well but I did eat some at a restaurant, pretty tasty . Far different than anything else I’ve had
  13. I was at a dam so everyone is fishing there, boat or not, but if I can throw a crappie jig in your boat that’s too close. The wildest times are paddlefish season, I’ve been in my boat and nearly domed with a 6-8 oz sinker. I didn’t realize they had 150 yard surf casting capabilities
  14. Having a paddle is better than being dead in the water 100% of the time. I can move my 18.5 foot boat just fine with a paddle. There’s even a famous saying about it, come on people
  15. I used mine to get back to the ramp when the motor didn’t start, that’s why you keep one. no brainer
  16. Felt like @thediscochefout there……. these spot locking live scopers trolled across my cast , then I walked a quarter mile downstream, there they were again. They weren’t following me because I was catching fish, just making trolling passes over and over right in front of all the bank fishermen…….. tech is not just for youngsters I got a big ole skipjack as I was leaving, they got really excited . “Is that a crappie?” I said no they don’t make crappie that big . “Sauger?” Lord help them
  17. There’s not a whole lot of things on earth as quick and violent as an otter. They did a big reintroduction here in the 80s and 90s and my boss was working at the zoo when they received their first batch of them. He said they will bite you ten times before you can blink there’s a big difference between wild animals and grocery shoppers. A predator doesn’t really ponder on how to catch something, they catch it or starve . Now your otter friend also eats a ton of crawdads and they aren’t so quick
  18. Walking the bank is where I break off the most lures, we don’t have any weedy ponds (or really any ponds)
  19. No law but you’d be silly not to have one
  20. @casts_by_fly, I fish from the bank, dock, boat, wading, canoe, kayak, my wife says I’ve literally been fishing in my sleep many times. Ever been to my neck of the woods? It’s all rocks and logs. Literally, all of it. Any soil that was here washed to New Orleans a few million years ago here’s what it looks like under my dock when they drawn down the lake in winter. I broke 50 lb braid several times there this weekend catfishing, line strength matters not And some other pics just for example
