  2. Uncle Sam is that way with my wallet. Always tap dancing circles around me reaching into my pockets I thought you took a different job, @clayton86?
  3. Pretty much. There are small crops in east TN but everything is steep and there aren’t many large scale farms. Corn beans okra and tomatoes in the backyard. Apparently the soil is extremely old and not very good, seems like I remember it being compared to very old oxidized soils in Africa during soils classes……. But that’s been many years……. There was even some term for it that I’ve forgotten…… Contrastingly, West TN looks a tad like southern Illinois, Indiana, etc with corn and soybeans, they’ve got nice fertile soil from the Mississippi River. We had a forestry professor quiz us about the age of this monster willow oak tree on a WMA near the MS river, everyone guessed 75-150 years. He said it was 22 years old and he was there the day they planted it 😂 . That dirt is magic
  4. of all the days. Somebody needs to take you tuna fishing! (I get seasick)
  5. Holy moly. I wish you lived closer, I need to offload a range
  6. ^those are intense! Don’t miss them haha
  7. A quart of gear lube seems to last a couple years for me, changing power head oil and filter seems to cost 50 bucks or more. Where you are getting the ballin deal is storage! And a two pack of trailer light bulbs is like 7.99 now haha, thimble sized

  11. Negative, granted I’ve never paid attention to which way it goes on so I might have to say “inconclusive “
  12. I go minimal, if they wont bite a plastic worm I’ll be a monkeys uncle. I do like some music to paddle to
  13. Everything I take fishing has been broken or ruined so no way I can take anything valuable out there. And all my stuff is family heirlooms

  18. @AJ Hauser, ironically my smaller boat with dust caps never slings grease. My bearing buddies on the bigger boat have slung grease all over America, granted I’m a notorious over greaser. seals are overrated 😂

I agree. Everyone wants the big male to be tough and chewy but I’ve never experienced that, they are tender and delicious. I ate some steak from a massive bull elk a couple weeks ago and it was top notch. Now a big wild boar, that’s gonna be stinky……..
  21. Drier than a popcorn fart down this way but that’s always a plus, we don’t have crops just devastating floods
