John Cox has entered the chat……. he does very well with wacky rig and jig and always fishes shallow. But all anyone wants to talk about is FFS so…… people forget like the biggest fish all year was caught super shallow, in a lake where no one thought would have the biggest fish, without a scope. And everyone has forgotten its 2023, what actually happens and make sense doesn’t matter whatsoever. The only thing anyone cares about is what’s being said on the internet

I’ve being seeing these 4-5 foot long sea monsters jumping out of the water for years where I fish. Big long grayish/whitish/blueish fish that splash down like a refrigerator fell from the sky. However, I think i have been offered an explanation in this particular case. I got a decent look at some and it’s paddlefish and/or sturgeon. I should catch one sometime to confirm Hey Katie, me and my buddy were camping on devils island cooking breakfast one time and tried to offer this nice young lady some food but she just kept on paddling

I was throwing a small crankbait nearly all the way across the Holston river with it yesterday. When you get the settings right you can sling it with gusto and not worry about a backlash

Yes they are river fish, we have no lakes only reservoirs

Got the seviin reel a workout this evening, caught several smallies including a double on the RAD crankbait and some on a fluke
