  1. Across town it’s $3.29 haha
  2. We have herons frogs beavers and owls in the middle of downtown along with lots of other wildlife, I make a living off of their resilience
  3. Hahaha I’ve seen you throw every lure they make, some are ned or die
  4. I saw regular gas for $2.77 moments ago
  5. Another pic from the game this weekend, F16 fly over was pretty cool!
  6. Rage menace , tube , and jig head/minnow are good in colder water, I throw finesse worm year round regardless of temp, just can’t help it
  7. That’s surprising, I’ve had some wonderful days of fishing in the 47-49 degree water temp range. Even seen them schooling on top
  8. Bugs love a lake, the way I got rid of termites at our place was to eliminate any moisture by modifying the ground to where it ran around the house and downhill. Apparently most any insect requires a little bit of moisture. I still get some bugs in the basement but I don’t spray anything at all until my wife insists. Once I got the basement all dry the majority of the bugs left
  9. Wont be too cold anywhere around here. Frog fishing should be near its peak on guntersville
  10. Nice gizzard! I think the state record in TN is pushing 3 lbs hahah, I remember thinking “what in the world?” when I read that
  11. The little ball of hate!!!
  12. I fish smallies several times a week and rarely, almost never, use any of the 3. But I do have lots of friends…. many of my friends throw nothing but a ned rig and they catch ‘em so I would rank it as very effective wacky rig is not effective at all for me, might as well just buy a pack of worms and hooks and toss them into the garbage drop shot is good stuff, I just don’t rig them up often cuz I fish evenings after work and don’t really wanna fiddle with tying them
  13. Bat exclusion day
  14. Awesome!!!!
  15. Thermocline disappears in winter and we can catch fish plenty deep or shallow, water temp is the same on top as it is 100 feet down then on the main river reservoirs , there is never a well defined thermocline due to the current
  16. Absolutely. I also throw it in shallow shoals and rapids with no fish finder required
  17. I’m too old for that but I’ll have one or three beers , your quote about meeting your wife is hilarious I can barely drink two drops of red wine, don’t know why but I just don’t like it
  18. TnRiver46 replied to gim's topic in Hunting Forum
I saw like 20 at the house today, I think you could have jumped on one of their backs and tried some hand to hoof combat hunting
  19. Love Martin short!
  20. Ummmm, there were 3 cheating scandals at top level tournaments just this season. You had to be living under the rock of Gibraltar to have missed the walleye thing. Then you had the BPT debacle at cayuga and the BASS open on eufala, AL. We could pretend these never happen but they do, wouldn’t need prisons if everyone behaved
  21. The reel was $20 and the rod was $10 hahah. Both from academy. Rod is B &M 410 medium ultra light and reel is quantam optix that was completely broken a few weeks ago (got flooded canoeing) but I got her up and running again . 4 lb Shakespeare mono
  22. For now, it’s all fair game so…… smoke em if ya got em I also feel you shouldn’t ban something just because of internet comment sections, I’d rank enforceability above that
  23. I have used the 87 plus corn squeezings , but I added star tron enzyme when I did. Now that fuel has come back down some I can afford the pure gas, there was a time when it was over $5/gallon and I kind of couldn’t
  24. Nice work @Woody B, looks like the larger participants today were LM. Well except the curious Flathead, and yes if you’re calling it huge I’m a tad scared crappie on a devils horse, now that’s funny
