  7. Actually joe puts it all over Facebook and instagram, luckily most tournament trails are over by thanksgiving and Christmas when the bigs are chewing. (MLF pro salzman’s pictures are also crazy for pickwick in late fall)
  8. People can catch a smallmouth bag approaching 30 lbs from November to March in N Alabama below the big dams. Honestly they can do it year round but fall/winter is the best time regular joes too, not even tournament fishermen same area during the spawn, 15 lbs is a good bag I wouldn’t put an “any lake across the country” label on it, fishing during spawn hurts the weights down south unless you’re at santee cooper or FLA
  9. Were the dogs barking at it? Always cracks me up when dogs bark a turtle into a corner but won’t get near it

  16. Hate that it died but big bass are tasty, people just don’t like the thought of them dead so they say it’s tough and nasty to discourage people from trying it. They taste just like the small ones only there is way more food congrats on the PB
  17. But wait……… spawn in the most used word in bass fishing info…….. say it ain’t so!!!!! spawn spawn spawn spawn pre spawn post spawn spawn spawn spawn
  18. I’m told mine was a snoopy rod
  19. Wow! That’s cool. A lot of the rivers I fish are said to be older than the Appalachians because they flow straight thru them east to west from NC to TN. Seems like I read the French broad is like 400 million years old, it’s right near my house
  20. My wife is from the top left of the blue corn portion haha ive always heard the Appalachians had glaciers go right over them, that’s why they aren’t as sharply peaked as the Rockies
