  1. @throttleplate has……. I believe the op meant he saw him on the internet
  2. The water is always icy cold about 6 feet down. What I crawl thru from 9-5 would really gross you out if you don’t like lake water
  3. My feet are flat on the bottom so I usually wear something I’ve worn down to flat . I will add this: not fishing, but standing on the river bank cleaning fish last week. Some sort of insect lit my world up after dark, my friends think it was an assassin beetle, I kind of thought it was a cicada killer. There were 3 of us standing around a fish cleaning table and I hollered out and started dancing. I saw something pretty big flying away from my foot. I finished cleaning the fish and it felt like I was standing on a softball. I then sat down and iced it for half an hour and took a Benadryl, still swelling to massive size, at least double my other foot. Finally I decided to walk around the campground loop 3 times, got a little adrenaline flowing freaking out over it. That got the swelling to go down the one time I wish I had boots on in the heat of summer!
  4. 10 is a little too thick
  5. A lot of folks bypass the plastic reservoir and mix their own “just in case” I would imagine that it will beep when the plastic reservoir is nearly empty. I would just keep some on board and make sure it’s always topped off
  6. Smallies love LM jigs
  7. You’ll just have to try em ! Ralph’s is in cookeville TN and richy Kreme is in Maryville TN. I spelled it wrong the first time
  8. There’s always water to jump into, the natural AC that we often forget about. I used that method 3 times yesterday
  9. He “hawks” hobies too but also has a day job
  10. Mine has a dipstick, yellow like a car
  11. @Jmurphy87, you are a fishing machine
  12. I’d agree about Blantons, it’s more about collecting the little horsie lids . It’s $60 at buffalo trace tho
  13. I may have missed it, but that list is a fraud without Ralph’s or richy creme
  14. People always think they can google away their wildlife problems too, then they call me for help after total failure
  15. I believe he said it’s about 100 degrees in October
  16. That’s when I just quit and go back to boring old casting
  17. And most people think he won
  18. It’s all fun and games til something gets stuck on a log. I trolled with one of my buddies that guides for musky, he showed me that tip in the water trick. I use it for bass when there’s junk in the water now
  19. I never read anything below the price tag when it comes to lithium
  20. I tried two rods once, way too much going on there
  21. I lost 10 lbs in the last week but I ate way more than normal. Camping in a swamp will do it! You have to drink about 5-7 gallons of water a day just for your legs to function. It happens every year on this trip, AC has made us all soft
  22. Bout time for you to work on mine now that youve got that done
  23. 12v lead battery 55 lb thrust 18 foot boat. I can fish way longer than I have time to on a charge. Probably 2-3 times, which is why a lithium is useless for me just came back from a week long marathon fishing trip, $75 battery from 2019 held up nicely
  24. 59

    58 more than me!
  25. That’s funny because clients always bust my chops about my cheap gear and cheap truck when I take guided trips they think $700 combos are the minimum
