  1. Got out after work, caught two smallies, two white bass, saw two eagles, then saw two lightning bolts. Ran away
  2. Did you watch the videos where he was down here with top Knox?
  3. The world is our oyster on the hatchet I suppose, I only looked at a couple so far My wife probably wants to be buried with her LL bean slippers Well I can get there easy! Maybe even by boat if they run enough water……..
  4. That first part looks rough!!!
  5. They’re coming for ya!!!!
  6. It doesn’t matter what I get, it’s guaranteed failure haha. Learned that lesson a long time ago. I did hear her say two things she wanted, and I have them written down. New LL bean slippers and a small hatchet for splitting kindling for the fireplace. She said she wanted those items, I will get them, and it will still be a fail. Such is life, and the sun will rise on December 26 haha
  7. That depends on if you take the red pill or the blue one
  8. I had a tiny largemouth swallow a crankbait whole this summer. It was toast. I put it in the water and it was just flipping on the surface slowly dying. Kind of messed up. Then a gar just grabbed it and swam off . Mother Nature is a savage with no sympathy. Humans are the only ones feeling sorry for anything. We are so disconnected from nature that we feel bad for fluffy cute creatures while eating a chicken that was mass electrocuted or decapitated next to its entire extended family without blinking. We will probably be eventually outnumbered haha
  9. I think a little fish can just sit still nearly all winter with its belly in the mud like a turtle
  10. It’s nice! Granted, winter for me is usually 40+ degree water and air
  11. Then buys a $300 fishing pole? I took a 15’ canoe to the Atlantic Ocean on a Honda fit, 30+ mpg. Might have saved 2-3$ if I stuffed it in the back with the hatch open like jed clampet pick your battles wisely (and close all car doors before shifting into drive)
  12. I’ve he was smart, he would put it on top of the car
  13. I’m on the opposite schedule, I rarely catch a small black bass in winter. I can get lots of dinks in summer
  14. They check me constantly
  15. Problem is when they are bleeding and under the legal limit, can’t eat that one. And everywhere I fish the smallmouth limit is 18” or more, I’ve had to release some dead ones
  16. Warning: reel cleaning products are flammable. Do not use near open flame or heat source
  17. Hopefully it cleans the battery acid out of my insides
  18. Straight gas homie just kidding although someone once told me diesel worked
  19. My hunting fishing cousin has driven a Prius for years , he loves it
  20. Me too!!! ? There are largemouth where I fish but I don’t encounter them nearly as often
  21. Pros: sensitivity and nearly eliminates line twist cons: if you fish snaggy areas, you spend too much time re rigging. It’s also more expensive than mono i don’t bother anymore and just put 6 lb mono on all my spinning reels
  22. They don’t have to eat much all winter long (the bass or the flathead) there’s some serious catfishermen here that fish all winter and they stop catching flatheads all together in the coldest part of winter. Blues still bite
