My favorite part about wading is you don’t zoom by good spots in the canoe/kayak

Reservoirs, especially highland ones. The best river spots for me in winter are right below a dam because the water coming out is from the bottom of a lake and much more constant temperature than surface runoff

Pros fish my spots all the time, and they will be again in march at the 2023 bassmaster classic

We have a pond at one place I work that we teach fly casting without hooks. The bass follow us everywhere we go, especially the big ones. My buddy that used to mow around the pond said they always followed him when he was weedeating because he would scare frogs off the bank into the water. We have put on hooks and caught a bluegill and let the bass eat it , so they do also associate fly line with free bluegill

I had about 45 minutes of free time, set some cutbait out on the local kayak launch dock. Just as I was putting up all my stuff at dark, the rod went off, nice little channel that got to walk 1/3 of a mile back to the truck with me

CCR is my favorite band, I even have papers from grade school where I wrote about them hahah. Unfortunately they don’t make music like they used to
