And then made the second mistake of actually casting it, mr big bass grabbed the little crappie jig and snapped the line effortlessly. I left that rod at the campsite for the rest of the trip…..,

Even when I’m catching my own shad and fishing with them, I take them where theres minimum amounts of bait to fish with . “Find the bait, find the fish” works some places but not many around here. Find the bait is as easy as finding the river most of the time. what you’ve encountered is bass that don’t listen to human instructions

I don’t guess it counts as a combo but I’ve tied line and hook to dock posts, tree limbs, and Powerade bottles many times and caught fish

My friends dog gobbled up a dead mouse that had (maybe) been poisoned. They pretty much cried their eyes out and planned the dogs funeral, while the dog had no symptoms and is doing just fine (old tiny dog too). Things that never actually happen scare people the worst!
