Guntersville guides, fishing trips ect?
Mike carter used to run a lot of trips down there. I would guess the state park down near the dam or goose pond would be the most fishermen friendly places. They didn’t really take too kindly to out-of-towners at the local shops/restaurants when I was down there! Haha. There was a definite “you’re going to kill our lake” vibe

I think @A-Jay has used one of those and said they suck . I always just use the jack from my truck- River Smallies & Frogging ?
I usually hook them with a 5/0 but have caught them with 3/0 in a pinch- Secondary battery for boat electronics
A $20 lawn mower battery from wal mart will run electronics and weighs/costs much less than standard deep cycle- That’s One Big Bait!
Reaction. If they had never seen a rat before they would still eat it- Ramp/dock etiquette
Haha! I’ve always worn them down to racing slicks very quickly- Ramp/dock etiquette
Wearing crocs on a wet boat launch is ice skating- Swirls everywhere at Dusk
Mooneye- River Smallies & Frogging ?
I always throw a frog when fishing river smallies. Toads are the best! I never throw them on spinning gear though, gotta hammer down on the frog hook set- What is your most "productive" topwater
Buzzbait, popper, walking bait. Bomber long a or storm jointed thunderstick waked on the surface for honorable mention- Nizpro Supercharger for 250 SHO
They make bullet and Allison boats near my house. Crazy runs deep here!!!- life vests
That type II is a good one as well. Not necessarily comfy but will keep your head up- Best state for river/creek smallies?
The clinch and pigeon (and little pigeon) are both really good, a couple of impoundments on the ocoee are excellent for spotted bass and yellow perch. Up there around Johnson city is some great fishing on the holston and watauga. Then there’s the Powell river, hiawassee, the Cumberland and all its tributaries......... Then on the plateau there a bunch of wild and scenic rivers loaded with fish in the middle of nowhere. Further south theres the sequatchie and Collins rivers, the possibilities are many- Mice!
Wooden snap trap has been on the market for a long time for a reason, they are my favorite. Traps and poison do the same thing, you just have to worry about non targets with poison (although pets shouldn’t get into a boat and usually a cat won’t eat poison). Basically with almost all critter problems, getting rid as many critters as possible is the best solution, yet the last thing anyone ever tries. In summary, the best thing to combat mice is killing mice, which is best done with snap traps and/or poison. we would rather not even do mouse work but I swear you could make a killing doing exclusively mouse work, it’s a common issue that nobody really wants to deal with- Mice!
I’m sure it works about 1 out of 100 times because everyone tries it, but I’ve been to countless jobs where they’ve tried them and failed. And that’s for all creatures, not just mice. My boss couldn’t even deter moths with moth balls when they started damaging furs- How deep does your trolling motor need to be?
Ever-changing (dare I say, dynamic?)- Best state for river/creek smallies?
I would agree about the Tennessee part of that post, the TN river is not ideal for kayaks and really can’t be waded anywhere. Its got several dozen or a hundred tributaries that are good for that kind of stuff though.- Mice!
Ok I can kill anyone’s mice but it’s going to cost you more than five cents....... - Line for fishing around docks/boat lifts?
