  1. @bp_fowlernice fish and nice boat! Cool spot to fish
  2. Disgorged? I like it . Never heard that one but I definitely won’t forget it
  3. I never grab the line if I can avoid it. @Glenn does have a way he grabs the line that works but I believe he wraps it around his hand one time before lifting

Terro drops. Or “just call the man aunt bea!”
  5. I can fish sunrise to sunset on a single 12v lead battery that cost $99, no reason for me to get anything else
  6. We’ve had thunder and lightning in the snow down here as long as I can remember, 40-50 degree temp swings in a day or two not uncommon the Appalachian mtns are pretty wild, been around for 480 million years. They’ve seen some things the normal is to expect the unexpected, new or old
  7. They swim really fast and attack it. They are lightning fast, I’ve seen some fish see a lure way before it lands and swim to attack it like a bolt of lightning upon splashdown. A video of someone feeding bass in an aquarium will demonstrate how quickly it happens. I’ve seen them eat a dozen goldfish in a few seconds
  8. Luckily it’s supposed to be back down to 50-60 early next week. Don’t think the fish care but I like lower temps
  9. Just a guess, I was assuming (you know how that goes) that he uploaded a video and didn’t realize there was a violation in it, then took it off YT. Lots of those videos show chatter at gas pumps, etc
  10. I usually catch the live fish with a net and can dig worms in my yard but the big worms from the stores seem to work better. Wal mart has night crawlers, and so does about every gas station and convenient store around here
  11. Wont bother me! When you look like I do, you get used to being teased 😂 😆 (live fish work even better than live worms)
  12. He very well may be, that channel is just a snake in the grass that I dont listen to, right or wrong
  13. My preference: if the weather is really nice and everyone thinks it will make the fish bite, do boat/trailer maintenance at home or cut the grass if fishermen are saying “that cold front knocked them in the head,” then hook up the boat and go fishing
  14. 3/4 oz Silver buddy, dec 27 many years ago. Cold and windy
  15. Now that the channel this chatter is coming from has been revealed, I believe nothing
  16. Warmest day of the year yesterday at 81 degrees and 4 of us got skunked, not a single bite . Ready for winter 😆
  17. Yeah but the person you are riding behind is totally blinded in all 3 mirrors
  18. Because a truck is supposed to have a truck bed
  19. No human will ever fully understand, regardless of what they think/say
  20. Went fishing Monday after a night and half the day full of thunderstorms. The water was starting to do its normal transition from clear to Yohoo and I pulled up the deep dive app to see if I could figure out which creeks were really dumping in mud. Normally the usgs only has a few of the major creeks listed. Well this app has nearly every creek charted, some quite tiny but still registering a flow rate. and in this photo you can kind of see where the water is muddier near the bank from the inflow than it is out toward the middle of the river Today I will be going fishing after work in 18 mph predicted winds so I will be pulling up the app to see where we can fish and still feel a lure on the end of the line haha.
