  1. Just a guess, I was assuming (you know how that goes) that he uploaded a video and didn’t realize there was a violation in it, then took it off YT. Lots of those videos show chatter at gas pumps, etc
  2. I usually catch the live fish with a net and can dig worms in my yard but the big worms from the stores seem to work better. Wal mart has night crawlers, and so does about every gas station and convenient store around here
  3. Wont bother me! When you look like I do, you get used to being teased 😂 😆 (live fish work even better than live worms)
  4. He very well may be, that channel is just a snake in the grass that I dont listen to, right or wrong
  5. My preference: if the weather is really nice and everyone thinks it will make the fish bite, do boat/trailer maintenance at home or cut the grass if fishermen are saying “that cold front knocked them in the head,” then hook up the boat and go fishing
  6. 3/4 oz Silver buddy, dec 27 many years ago. Cold and windy
  7. Now that the channel this chatter is coming from has been revealed, I believe nothing
  8. Warmest day of the year yesterday at 81 degrees and 4 of us got skunked, not a single bite . Ready for winter 😆
  9. Yeah but the person you are riding behind is totally blinded in all 3 mirrors
  10. Because a truck is supposed to have a truck bed
  11. No human will ever fully understand, regardless of what they think/say
  12. Went fishing Monday after a night and half the day full of thunderstorms. The water was starting to do its normal transition from clear to Yohoo and I pulled up the deep dive app to see if I could figure out which creeks were really dumping in mud. Normally the usgs only has a few of the major creeks listed. Well this app has nearly every creek charted, some quite tiny but still registering a flow rate. and in this photo you can kind of see where the water is muddier near the bank from the inflow than it is out toward the middle of the river Today I will be going fishing after work in 18 mph predicted winds so I will be pulling up the app to see where we can fish and still feel a lure on the end of the line haha.
  13. The tree really opened up yesterday
  14. I engaged in the strenuous activities of tailgating and golfing there and I was concerned with spontaneous combustion
  15. Mine just have a paddle and a bail bucket/sponge
  16. Cubs won 18-3 and had a guy hit for the cycle, first time in like 38 years or something
  17. Live bait is the best bait! Happy birthday Dwight!
  18. It’s an ocean on the bottom half, we’ve nearly broken a bass boat in half . Be careful, only fishing advice I have is for drum haha. Have caught some nice smallies below watts bar dam but I used shad in winter when the water was raging. It will be low ish flow in April
  19. I smell what you’re stepping in, everything I use is bare bones. I’ve got two motor boats, one has a hand operated trolling motor and the other has oars and oar locks. My canoe and kayaks have nothing but a paddle and sometimes an anchor. The gadgets and gizmos just ain’t for me
  20. @Fishlegs, we call my buddy Casey the manatee, his boat ran him over and he drove himself to the hospital while holding his organs in with his other hand. Now he has manatee scars on his belly
  21. When I was on an island in Lake Superior they recommended treating it with drops/tablets in addition to the filter, something about a bacteria. We don’t have to do that at home but wasn’t sure if we had enough fuel to boil water for a week so we treated it all. Drops work way faster than tablets
  22. Ha! Little sweat won’t hurt. It’s never as hot as Georgia! I swear, I don’t know how, but Georgia is hotter than Florida and Alabama combined
  23. Make a fire and boil some ? I use a little camping pump filter but all my friends have the gravity ones now
  24. Holy cow I saw a hail storm come across Lake Michigan once and I was seeking shelter haha. Also had a door ripped out of the frame at a rental we stayed at. Bro in law was solo camping on manitou island only a few miles away in a tent, he said it wasn’t bad at all 🤷‍♂️
