  1. Hahaha. I think I have posted the story on here before but I accidentally bought a left hand retrieve baitcaster with $75 worth of quarters when I was about 12. I was very proficient with a right hand retrieve baitcaster at the time but the lefty felt crazy and I couldn’t hold the rod tip stationary. Since a 12 year old can’t really drive himself back to the sporting goods store I just practiced until it was second nature . Now I can use either RH or LH retrieve and I can cast left or right handed

no injuries but this team is somehow clearly worse. I’m here at the game and we look terrible
  7. No problem man
  8. No where close to equipped for it but it seems to happen a few times every year the last decade or so. I just fish from the bank when it's extra cold, I figure if people live in Canada all year, I can stand outside all day in 25 degree weather every now and then I did have to shed down to a t shirt at work a time or two this week. Granted I was climbing up and down a ladder in the sun
  9. My bad. I'm a member of the same hater club as @Steveo-1969 and I can't help it sometimes

  12. Possible. Sounds like you are okay with shaming a child and his parents but not precious local QB. I mean, after all, go pats, right????
  13. You never know, kid might be a ref one day .
  14. Maybe don't cheat if you don't want to be called out? Just a thought
  15. Some of the best 5 fish tournaments weighed and released all but their biggest keeper. Watch lake Travis 2018 bass elite
  16. If it gets above 35 or so I will probably be launching both days this weekend. If it’s wjndy + cold I’ll be bank fishing. Let me know if you need a ride
  17. Yea I’m not sure there’s enough parking no matter what they do but who knows

  19. Maybe this has something to do with the Classic https://www.knoxnews.com/story/news/local/2019/01/24/boat-ramp-ned-mcwherter-park-tennessee-river/2669172002/
  20. I don't know, most of them won't idle any slower than 3.5 mph.
  21. I think I got them at a local tackle store, there was no brand on the last batch I got so I'm guessing they are made in someone's basement . I use the arkies from Walmart quite a bit also. When you hang up hundreds of times , it helps to have a hook that might bend (a tad). I would rather use a strong hook but I would also not rather hang up and retie all day. They hold big smallmouth surprisingly well as long as you don't horse them. Usually they are hooked in the roof of the mouth and very difficult to unhook. They don't throw the bait nearly as often as a rattle trap
  22. Not sure exactly but I have seen a popR with the back hook taken off and small hair flies tied on two separate lines trailing off the back. That’s a trick everybody’s grandpa used around here on schooling fish. They claimed it’s hook up ratio was far superior to when the bass would just knock a spook up into the air over and over. It’s a little too tangly gangly for me but I bet it would work very well. I don’t like fishing Alabama rig, donkey rig, or even a tandem fly rig for trout. Heck I don’t even like trolling two poles for crappie, but that’s just me. I always turn it into tumbleweed
