Spro BBZ1 Rat -vs- Whopper Plopper
The rats were my biggest producers last yr. I have one tied on permanently. Best early and late in the day, but still got lucky on blue bird afternoons. The propper has been good, but has not yielded the race results as the rats

When the knot fails, which line in is breaking? My fishing buddy wets his line before he ties and as he is synching it up. The only knot that has failed me was user error.

GL3 vs e6x
Howdy Folks, I have searched and read some older threads on this, but nothing recently published......for those that have both the e6x and the GL3, what say you. I am comparing separate rods for Jigs, cranks and large top waters. I really like my e6s spinning rods, but looking for info on BC'ers. Thanks in advance, Al

CI4 VS 70
Folks I just picked up 2 cI4's and love them. I do need one more real and I am pondering the 70. Reading everything possible on several board has show great bias in certain areas. Everyone agrees that for flipping and pitching, the 70 has it's advantages. What I am really wondering is does it out perform the cI4 in any other area. The 3 reals will primarily be used for shallow to medium cranks, jigs and larger top water and swim baits. Thanks gents

Storing Plastics In Planos
I keep my popular plastics in Plano's, the rest in bags in a tupperware. The longer I fish the more I realize I don't need every size in every color....and it I run low, replacements are only 2 days away

Trebble Hooks
It is hard to read a thread about crankbait and surface bait where half the guys aren't replacing the hooks. What are you looking for in a trebble and what are the most popular sizes. While I am at the well, why are some going to shorts and wide gap. I get that it is personal preference, but is there consensus on any of this.... Thanks Al

How much do you gain with the better equipment?
I take a lot of novice fisherman out and over the yrs, and I have found that any spinning gear with braid and wacky rig will catch fish. I think the biggest advantage of better gear is when it comes to jigs and any situations that call for long, accurate cast and sensitivity is a must. I also can feel the difference after a day on the water when I use my better gear,,,,,, my wrist, hands, and arms and shoulders say "thank you"

I need help choosing a reel
Last summer I tried reals in every price category. While a <100.00 real will certainly get the job done, an extra 30.00 brings a great bang for the buck and at that level the Dawaia is the way to go. If it makes it more palatable, think of it in pennies per cast over 1 summer
