  1. The confusing part that that I see these on his site and look to what he did in partnership with owner.......just doesn't add up....
  2. Take a look at the st35's. A short 36, which works great
  3. On half of mine, I really think them out, especially with certain trailers.....play with different presentations
  4. Thanks , I use the owner' for wacky. Looking more for Texas. Thanks
  5. Was looking at these too https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Gamakatsu_OShaugnessy_Bend_Offset_Worm_Hook_5pk/descpage-GOSW.html?from=basres
  6. Howdy Folks, For yrs I have used EWG hooks for my 4 and 5 inch senko. I don't feel that I miss many fish and my ratio is better since getting away from the superline Gammy and staying with the standard Guage. That said, it is hard to ignore those that are having success with round bends and straight shanks..... So.....just looking for some input, thanks Al
  7. They work, but I do think there are better options for early season bass
  8. Used DS for the first time last year.....on spinning gear with Braid to FC. I did use a small swivel and saw no ill effects.
  9. Hope to be using them on beds in a few weeks....I do increase the size of the hooks and speed up the retrieve
  10. There has been a lot written on this lately but not from avid fisherman. Most of the articles come from non anglers and very part time anglers questioning the humainness of trebles, vs the single hook. I had a conversation last year with the guys at Spro on the topic and the bottom line for them was that baits are designed to catch fish with specific hooks. If single hook was required, lures would change significantly.
  11. @road warrior, how does this compare to Gamma Torque?
  12. Frankly, I use leader for both and have similar setups. At a minimum your lighter set up with FC leader will likely present and achieve better action.
  13. NHBull replied to Ethan F's topic in Fishing Tackle
In place of a spinner in very choppy water......also let them run a couple feet under.....cast and quick retrieve
  14. I am sick of crappy folks.....would gladly pay more to be able to use them right out of the box
  15. I can crank both left and right, but setting the hook is more natural with my right arm, so I crank left
  16. I through them on Jig and swimbait setups.....adjust your drag approximately and don't bother with glass or composits
  17. Thanks for taking the time, I too am not a fan of strait FC, but it does have its place
  18. I find that a 7 give me the best of both worlds. I actually prefer a bit more distance over accuracy. The extra length also make it a bit more multi purchase
  19. Prices being similar, the IMX all day long
  20. Absolutely
  21. It works fine on my " pocket fisherman".....
  22. For a 7' M I prefer the 2500 with braid over my 3000. The 3000 is on a 7 M/H for larger species
  23. It was the action, and bend.....I just prefer graphite rods with technique based tapers
  24. It is personal preference, but I found that rod to feel like a wet noodle. I went with the e6x and am much happier....I am sure you will find many that disagree
