I just ordered an Avid MH crankbait rod I have a couple,etc e6x's but hate a 9" handle....the dobyns has about the same

If you weight your CB, I think you will find that most, with exception of you 1-2 footers will be close to 3/8. I found many M/M to be to soft and it forces you to pick up a MH, so buy the MH first and go from their..........additionally you can find very shallow CB that weigh 3/8th

It is funny you bring that up as I was looking at the GLX MBR and looking for reviews on the popper, thanks On a side note, how different is the MBR rods from the CB or Popper rods?

This year, I will be keeping fish that may not have a good chance for survival. We have a few shelters that are more than happy to serve up some Bass. Wished I would have considered it sooner

I thought I was all set with my cranking rods, but this weekend the Loomis (13") handles just hurt these wrist. I have never owner a St Croix and hear great things so the Premier MH and the Avid CB MH, both with 15" handles caught my eye. What ever I get will be paired with a Met MGL or Conquest 101.
